I recently purchased a Chevrolet Trax from Matt McClain at H&K Chevrolet of New Haven. I had a really great experience with the Matt and the manager. I had reached out to purchase a used vehicle that they were going to have transferred from their Archbold Ohio branch. Unfortunately before they could make the transfer the car I wanted had sold. Matt reached out to me right away to let me know what had happened and rather than giving me excuses, he gave me solutions of what they could do for me. I really love buying local and am excited to work with H&K in the future. One of the best features is that when buying a new car I GET FREE OIL CHANGES FOR THE LIFE OF THE CAR!!!!!

Recently purchased a 2020 2500 that should not have been able to leave the lot . Due to the complete negligence of the “technicians” at this lot my new truck left the H&K Chevy of New Haven lot with 30psi over the maximum recommended pressure of the tires as the tires were not even legally allowed to be on this truck. By DOT REQUIREMENTS a load range c tire should not be filled higher than 50 psi . The service and sales department missed than entirely and had the trucks tires filled to 80psi . When confronted over the phone with this information I was met with attitude as if I was in the wrong. I was then told that I would need to drive the truck 2 hours back to their lot on tires that were entirely over filled and in no way met DOT REQUIREMENTS. I was told by a a sales man “you drove it once you can drive it again” and was offered no help in fixing this horrible error that fell entirely on the poor management of this facility. They proceeded to tell me they would only help me once the truck magically appeared in front of them as they would not pay to have it towed or make any reimbursements of any kind. If zero stars was an options that’s what they would get. They will however be hearing from my lawyer. Per Indiana DOT REGULATIONS “tires must be rated for the vehicles gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR). For a 2500 truck this requires load range E tires, which are designed for heavier loads compared to passenger rated tires.”

Just bought a truck for our farm this morning from these guys! Matt and the team were fantastic to work with. They made it a smooth and easy process for me! Truck was a trade in from a couple days ago… They got it detailed and cleaned as we signed the paperwork and I was off. Thank you H&K Chevrolet New Haven team!

Matt McClain helped reunite me with my Camaro I sold 4 years prior over 130 miles away from where I lived. Even reached out to me on an holiday weekend he was not working. Everyone in the dealership was nice, respectful and work very quickly even with being as busy as they were.
