# Summary Salespeople at this dealership receive consistently high praise for their professionalism, product knowledge, and pressure-free approach to vehicle purchases, with multiple customers highlighting positive experiences with the buying process. However, the service department has drawn criticism for poor customer service attitudes and dismissive treatment, while at least one customer reported concerns about vehicle quality and the dealership's handling of mechanical issues post-sale.
After visiting several local car lots, I decided I would stop by the Hyundai dealership with little hope they would have what I needed. Kirk came out to greet us and ask what we were looking for. He waited for us to discuss our needs and jumped in with ideas of what would fit the bill. We tried out an option and while close, it wasn’t quite right. He had a great secondary option and took us to see what he had in stock. No pressure sales but knowledgeable and just eager enough to sell a vehicle to discuss options and current offers and promotions to keep me interested enough to pursue the dreaded offer back and forth. We made a couple adjustments to the offer and a trade in. They gave us an excellent deal and pretty painless considering the standard process for buying a new car. I’m super happy with my sporty Hyundai Elantra and have zero regrets. Highly recommend! Thanks Kirk!
Hallmark Hyundai are crooks. They sold me this car for my son. We’re all the way in North Mississippi. When I picked it up it had oil under the hood on an engine valve and they ensured me that their mechanics had only fixed it. I made them give me a warranty because I felt like something was wrong. They only insisted on 30 days instead of 60. I told them that we would not be driving the car and I wouldn’t give it to my son until May 22nd 2026. So, 30 days was not enough time to ensure they were being truthful about fixing whatever it was they needed to fix. The car has been sitting up and here it is May 28th and the dash is saying “engine overheating”. Their financial advisor Linda basically had sent a sales rep to tell me “to use the extended warranty I purchased”. That’s a strategy…. Put the repairs off on them to fix. It was cowardly of her not to even call and talk to me. This is extremely bad business. Any other lot would have morally tried to look into the issue and not put it off on somebody else. This is poor management, unethical, insensitive, and I encourage you to take your business elsewhere…
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I cannot recommend Ryan, at Hallmark Hyundai, highly enough! Buying a car is often stressful, and I'll admit I was a little hesitant going into the process because of the typical stereotypes surrounding car sales. However, Ryan completely exceeded my expectations. From day one, he was friendly, professional, honest, and genuinely focused on helping me. I never felt pressured or pushed into making a decision. He took the time to answer every question I had. What really stood out was his communication and dedication. He went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed and was always available to help whenever questions came up. His transparency and honesty made the experience feel trustworthy and stress-free, which is something that's unfortunately rare when buying a vehicle. Thanks to his exceptional customer service, what could have been an overwhelming experience turned into an enjoyable one. Thank you for making this such a positive experience for me!
I was very comfortable when visiting this dealership to look at new cars. Ted was very knowledgeable about the vehicle's features and willing to show me different cars without any pressure to buy. He was helpful but not pushy. Once I decided the features I wanted on the vehicle Ted worked to locate one that met my requirements. The buying experience was smooth and stress free. Everyone at the dealership was friendly and helpful.
The service advisor Rodney and service manager Sam are terrible when it comes to customer service. My friends and I have purchased over 10 cars within a year from Hallmark Hyundai, and every time I bring one in for a complimentary oil change, I’m treated rudely. They don’t even bother to introduce themselves or greet you properly — no “Hi, I’m Rodney, your service advisor.” Instead, it’s an unfriendly “What does this car need?” The service manager is no better. He doesn’t shake hands, doesn’t smile, and acts like customers are a burden. I drove over 45 minutes to get here, and the experience was awful. Their attitude is cold and dismissive, as if you have to bring your car to them and have no other choice. For comparison, Beaman Toyota and North Nashville VW treat customers with respect and make you feel welcome every time. Hallmark Hyundai, on the other hand, acts like you’re a stranger every visit — even after so many purchases. When I expressed my frustration, the manager basically said, “If you’re not happy, go somewhere else.” That’s not how you build loyalty or run a business. I’ll never buy another car here and wouldn’t recommend Hallmark Hyundai to anyone. Terrible service, terrible attitude.
