# Summary Staff members demonstrate strong sales and customer service skills, with salespeople praised for patience, professionalism, and willingness to negotiate fair deals while service experiences have been inconsistent, ranging from exceptional to problematic with communication and quality control issues. The dealership excels at creating a welcoming environment with amenities and responsive staff, though warranty service performance and attention to detail have fallen short of expectations for some customers.

Mike helped me buy my first brand new car. He was so fantastic, willing to work with us on getting the price down as much as possible. We initially went in to look at a 2025 Jetta Sport, but due to a recall they weren't able to sell it. Instead, Mike offered a brand new 2026 Jetta, and worked with his manager to get the price down as much as he could, to help us feel more comfortable with buying a newer car. He was patient while explaining everything to me, and I appreciated his friendliness and calm demeanor.

This dealer is a bit inconvenient for me to get to from East Pierce County, but when I went looking for an Ioniq 5, the dealers that were easier to get to either wouldn't answer my questions, like "What is the OTD price?" and "Is the advertised car still available?" There were dealers that ghosted me, straight up refused to give me an OTD, tried to pack on extra unnecessary charges, or took multiple days just to give me a quote. It was very frustrating that multiple dealers didn't seem particularly interested in selling me a car. Then I realized that Bremerton really isn't all that far at all when you're talking about something like buying a car, and saw that they had the car listed in stock, so I reached out. They took me seriously as a customer from the first moment, respected my needs the entire way along, and handled everything incredibly professionally. The deal they gave me was very fair both on the sale and trade in ends of it. Both Chantel (and the finance manager, whose name I forgot - sorry) were top notch and genuinely made the entire process as simple as possible. After a few quickly responded to emails on one day, I had a 9:30 appointment the next morning, and was out of there about noon; the deal actually was completely done and I had the keys in my hand by about 11, and I just had to wait a little for them to finish getting it prepped. The waiting room had a good selection of donuts and popcorn. I really can't recommend this place enough. It is absolutely, unequivocally, worth the drive to get out there.

I arrived quite early for my appointment, but the tech assured me that wasn’t a problem and they got my car in right away. Their waiting room is very pleasant and offers water, good popcorn and several kinds of muffins. Additionally, they have free WiFi as well as USB charging stations. I got a text on my phone that my cabin filter needed to be changed and I was able to approve the charge quickly and easily on my phone. When my car was finished—only about 1-1/2 hours—the tech came to escort me to checkout. He went over everything that was done so that I could understand without being condescending which I really appreciated. I am a 75 year-old woman and I can honestly say that Haselwood is the best car dealership I have ever dealt with. I highly recommend them!

I had a phenomenal car buying experience at Haselwood from the moment I walked in. My wife and I were greeted quickly and offered coffees and waters as we were sitting down. We just moved back to the United States from an overseas assignment and had our eyes on a Palisade for a while. Deondre was who we worked with for most of the car buying experience. Since we just landed back in country the day before , we didn’t have insurance yet on ourselves as drivers so he drove the car for us on a test drive which really allowed us to play with all of the features of the vehicle. He did an amazing job answering all the questions we had and explaining the things I wouldn’t even think to ask about. Before leaving he also helped us set up our Bluelink account. We did run into a little hiccup at one point. We came with our eyes set on a 2025, the dealer discounts they were offering on that year Palisade were too good to pass up, but when it came time for us to start the paperwork they had ran the VIN and found a recall was issued the day prior preventing us from purchasing it. We were really bummed out but Michelle was amazing and offered us those same discounts on the 2026 so we were still able to purchase a vehicle within our budget and ended up walking out with a model year newer. Never once did I feel pressured into adding on extras or purchasing an extended warranty that I’d experienced at other dealerships. When upgrade time rolls around I will be returning.

Haselwood Hyundai prides themselves in providing a remarkable experience - my experience with their service team was far from remarkable. Purchased a new Hyundai, after 1 month, had to have it serviced under warranty due to issues with my break light indicator and taillights not turning off. I got my car back after 4 months of it being in the dealership and it was not returned to me in the same condition I had left it. Scuff marks on the fuse box cover, plastic floor door hinge was cracked & broken, the plastic cover cracked at the bottom corner of my glove box, my brown leather seat had notable black dirty stains on the side, paint chips on the hood cover. And they returned my key without the protective cover. Absolutely unprofessional. The first month was great, Ryan was my service advisor, professional communicator, however, as time went by, I was given inaccurate prospective times on when my car would be ready, Ryan sometimes dropped the ball in following up with me on the days he said he would. I asked for several updated reports on my vehicle to be emailed to me 3 times. Of the 3 requests, they only followed up with 1. When I picked up my car, Ryan wasn't there, so got to talk to Zach, the assit. manager - I asked for a run-through of my report, he was clearly daunted by my thick report packet. He did his best to explain everything; I voiced my frustration to him and he empathized with me the best he could but also told me that they get really busy sometimes and sometimes the ball gets drop or we forget. Hey - I get it, it happens, we are human, but I felt that communication was dropped and actions did not align with words one too many times which lead me to not to fully trust what they would communicate with me later down the line. There are methods to professionally communicating accurate information and follow-ups - instead of saying you'll get back to me tomorrow, you can easily say that you'll get back to me as soon as you can. To give dates and statements of things you'll follow-up on and not deliver breaches trust in customers. I told Zach that the car was dirty, he countered with a $50 off detailing at West Hills. I explained that I was unable to harness the full value of my vehicle in the 4 months and had to pay more on gas for a rental while paying insurance and a loan for a car I'm not even driving, and Zach told me they spent over $10k under warranty for repairs on my car which rubs off as an insinuation for me to be grateful? How much was spent on repairs is irrelevant to me, the car came with warranty benefits. How the team communicated to me, how they didn't follow-up on their word, and the condition they handed my car over to me - that's what matters. And it was far from remarkable. To have all these people sit behind the service desk and no one had the eye for details to notice the broken pieces in my car, to return my key cover where it belongs to see the dirt on my seats is subpar. This is negligent. After my regrettable experience with the service team, getting my car returned dirty with broken pieces, them putting almost 50 miles to test drive my car on my gas money, I at the very least got a free car wash coupon to make up for the inconvenience. Do not get your car serviced here, I personally would go to a different Hyundai service shop. However, if you're going to buy your car here, 110% recommend Cole - he's an amazing salesperson. Other than that, DON'T GET YOUR CAR SERVICED HERE.
