I brought my vehicle in on January 28 due to a recurring battery drain issue. Since then, I have had to return multiple times because the problem was never properly resolved. The battery was replaced at my expense (~$400, partially covered), but the issue returned the very next day. A second battery was then installed, with the initial replacement being blamed as defective. I was first told the issue could be related to a trunk sensor, and more recently that it involves a computer component. Despite these multiple interventions and changing diagnoses, the root issue remains unresolved. The vehicle has now been immobilized for nearly three months. I was given an estimated date of April 30 for a part, but I have not received any meaningful update in over a month despite repeated follow-ups with both the dealership and Kia Canada. At this stage, the main concern is the lack of clear communication, consistent diagnosis, and a defined resolution plan. There is still no confirmed timeline or accountability. Being without a vehicle for this long, after multiple visits and unsuccessful repairs, is not acceptable.
