Small town friendly with a smile, but lacks Integrity-Ensure you check your service department receipt. I was charged 2.5 hours of labor. However I was there less than an hour. So a part that was $90 and took 50 minutes to install, but charged me $365.70 for 2.5hrs of labor that didn’t happen. Total bill was $519 for 50 minutes of labor and a $90 sensor. Small town customer service and honesty doesn’t exist here. I will be taking my business to a place that understands the meaning of Integrity.

If you’re looking for a new vehicle, make sure you go in and see Rick or one of his guys. He is so fun to deal with. The whole experience is low pressure and it’s refreshing to see the owner of the dealership actually cares and works there and is deeply involved with the whole process. Can’t say enough good things. UPDATE: 0708/2025: I emailed the owner the same day of this below review. Never heard back from him to this day. Stay away from this company. Buy from anyone other than this dealer. My truck now has 167342 miles. Pretty amazing from them saying the engine needed replaced. Worst service advisor experience ever! Cassidy Schear order # 168856 is either a lier or too incompetent to be representing this dealer. I brought my 2024 GMC in for a warranty turbo replacement. He tried telling me it was not under warranty and when I proved to him it was he complained that GMC only pays them 6.3 hours and it takes 14 and I would have to pay the balance. I said fine and could work that out with GMC on a reimbursement. So instead of doing that he charged me $177.55 for diagnostics then said it needed an engine. I knew better so I took it to Red Rocks GMC in Grand Junction 200miles away. They replaced the turbo under warranty no problem but High Country put me in a real tough place financially by being incompetent. Cassidy as well as High Country GMC should not be working in this position and representing GMC. So if you need a GMC simply go down the road and purchase from a dealer that will honor its commitment with GMC and do warranty repairs. I will be taking other forms of recourse to try and recover lost revenue as well as the tow bill, rental car to get home, etc.

Returning from Moab to Salt Lake City my truck decided to break down. High Country Chevrolet - GMC was the closest dealership. I cannot begin to express my thanks to how efficiently and thoroughly Cassidy Schear and the dealership resolved my issues and got me back on the road. Friendly, helpful and committed to customer service. Breaking down is never good but this time it brought me in contact with some great people. Thank-you!

I was traveling home to Michigan on the weekend before Memorial Day. My truck broke down and I have to be towed along with the trailer that I was pulling. Called right at closing time on that Saturday and was told to just put in the parking lot and they had room for my trailer as well. On Tuesday when they opened after holiday they got me right in and was able to check out my truck. They had me back up and running by early Wednesday morning. I know they worked hard and put extra time in to get me going and on my way back home to Michigan. Everyone was so friendly, and willing to help out there! I would recommend them. Thank you to the service team, and the people in the office that took my calls and helped me get this all taken care of. I really appreciate you going above and beyond! Dave
