Our trip to Hillside Toyota in search of our first car turned out to be an incredible experience. The warm welcome we received from the receptionist immediately set the tone. ROBIN ❤️, our sales representative, was absolutely fantastic. She was patient, attentive, and took the time to guide us through every step of the process. As first-time buyers, we greatly appreciated her honesty and expertise. The entire team made us feel valued and cared for. I am extremely disappointed with the service I’ve received from Hillside Toyota, especially considering I am a repeat and loyal customer. Over the years, I have purchased three vehicles from them—a Toyota Highlander, a Toyota Sienna, and most recently, a Toyota bZ4X. Unfortunately, my loyalty has not been reflected in how I’ve been treated. From the very beginning, there was visible damage to the chrome trim on the window of my brand-new Toyota bZ4X—something the dealership itself acknowledged before even handing me the keys. I was assured it would be taken care of, but despite repeated follow-ups, nothing was done for nearly two years. Only after persistent pressure did they finally order the parts and agree to fix the issue. I recently scheduled an appointment—week in advance—to address both the chrome damage and outstanding recalls. Given my busy schedule, I took time off work specifically to handle everything in one visit. However, less than an hour after dropping off my car, I received a call saying their system was down and they could not perform the recall repairs that day. I was casually told to come back another day, which is not feasible for me. What’s even more frustrating is that when I asked them to at least proceed with the scheduled service work if the recall couldn’t be completed, they refused, stating that the recall must be addressed first. At this point, it feels like excuses rather than solutions. This experience has been incredibly frustrating and disappointing. As someone who has brought significant business to this dealership over the years, I expected a higher level of professionalism, accountability, and respect for my time. Instead, I’ve been left feeling disregarded and let down. I sincerely hope management takes this feedback seriously and works toward improving how they treat loyal customers.
