Walt was such a great guy that was able to get my partner and I into a car within an hour. He was straightforward with us, which was refreshing after spending so much time with other dealerships that felt like they were just wasting our time. The entire experience was fast, efficient, and friendly. This was our first time buying from a family owned business and I am so glad that we did. Highly recommend for the Triangle area. Bonus! I went in looking for a reliable daily driver and Beaty was friendly and worked with me to find what I needed. There was a screw in one of the tires that we missed until I was about to drive off the lot and he replaced the whole tire on the house. The dealership is top notch and has a fun collection of exotic cars and reliable daily drivers. Thanks so much for the best car purchase experience!

UPDATE: 2/18/26 - The owner of this company contacted me the day I wrote my original comment upset and yelling about ruining his family business. Before I comment any further, I will post confirmation of what they knew to make sure everyone else stays far away. I’m a person of PROOF, I do not like to be called a liar. 2/16/26 I want to share my experience with Hollingsworth Auto Sales of Raleigh, particularly regarding our purchase of a 2016 Yukon truck. We’ve owned this vehicle for about eight or nine months now, and our experience has been far from satisfactory. As the owner of three paid-off cars, 2 of which are STILL operating, taking care of a vehicle has never been a problem for me. All of my cars go to the dealership for maintenance; I don’t take them to second-hand auto repair shops. We intended to use this truck primarily as a weekend vehicle, driving it hardly during the week—maybe once or twice—and we don’t travel much. This limited use means that wear and tear should be minimal, yet we’ve faced significant issues. The thermostat has failed, and now the truck won’t start at all. Given our careful maintenance and the fact that we hardly use it, we’re frustrated and disappointed. When we contacted Hollingsworth Auto Sales about these problems, the owner suggested we didn’t know how to care for the vehicle. This comment was particularly infuriating, considering my commitment to proper vehicle maintenance. Furthermore, their response to our concerns was cold and unhelpful. It’s our belief that they were aware of the truck's problems before selling it to us. It’s disheartening to think that they might have knowingly sold us a vehicle with known defects. We want to ensure that others are aware of our experience before purchasing from this company. If you’re considering a vehicle from Hollingsworth Auto Sales, proceed with caution.
