# Summary The dealership receives mixed reviews, with some customers praising individual salespeople like Kevin Thompson and Craig Bitters for their professional service and pleasant sales experiences. However, other customers report serious frustrations with post-purchase support, including unmet promises about vehicle repairs and poor responsiveness to ongoing mechanical issues, with one customer noting that despite being a long-time repeat buyer, they felt abandoned after the sale was complete.
Holzhauer auto & motorsports group! Im very disappointed in this dealership. They pretended to care about me as a repeat customer, but the second I need them to make right on a promise made to me I get ghosted. I was told before purchase that the exhaust on my truck would be "taken care of". I told the salesman I do not want it unless its fixed. I was assured that it would be fixed that they do this stuff all the time. I take my truck for its first free oil change and ask about the exhaust I get told to call later, the guy that knows about this is out. I call and call and call and still weeks later no answers not even to tell me whats wrong with the exhaust and what they would do to fix it. This is very frustrating because it feels like they did what they had to do to make a sale and once that happens you are on your own. With all that said I will not be going back to Holzhauer auto & motorsports group to purchase anything from this point forward.
I bought a new 1500 Longhorn Limited in May of last year. Immediately started having problems with it. The dealership did try to address the problems but they kept occurring. Still to this day I am having severe problems with the truck, all documented on video. Because of these problems I have had the truck for approximately 2-3 months total since I bought it (almost a year later now). The rest of the time the truck has been in the shop. It is currently in the shop with no known date of completion. It might be weeks, it might be months, who knows. Truthfully, the people working at the dealership have tried to help within their capacity. But I have gotten nowhere with this lemon that I have on my hands which I paid over $70,000 for. The dealership itself will not trade the truck in and are only dependent on Stellantis for trade assistance which has not been approved. Ultimately I'm going to have to resolve this in court which of course is going to take time and money. I'm giving it one star because if I sold something to somebody like this I would try to do the right thing and replace the car even if I had to take a financial hit. Especially if I owned a large dealership like that. The communication has been fair, the interaction with employees has been good and they have tried to fix the truck. However, nothing has been actually addressed and they have watched me not have a vehicle for all this time. I do appreciate that their efforts to reach out to the manufacturer and fix the vehicle but that is where everything always stops. Again the people working here are nice people but there has been no final solution to my problem. The ownership (which I havent communicated with) appears indifferent. They will do what they legally have to and that is it, a bare minimum. Therefore, if you run into a similar problem you're going to deal with people who are nice but you are not going to get an equitable solution. I strongly recommend against buying these vehicles, it's not worth the hassle. P.S. I bought 4 or 5 new cars here in the last 7 years. So don't think that being a repeat customer can insulate you from this.
Went to Hozier today looking to buy a new truck met with Kevin Thompson a salesman very delightful person worked hard to get us a good deal and we traded off our 2015 JK jeep Wrangler . Kevin did an awesome job. We write them a five star thank you very much, Kevin.
I had a great experience here. I wanted a specific Ram 1500 that I found in St Louis. My salesman Craig Bitters found the truck and brought it to his dealership. He made the experience very pleasant. He was never high pressure or pushy. I am now wanting a Ram 2500, and Craig Bitters is the only salesman that I will buy from! Whenever I can, I take my Ram in for free oil change. The service department is very professional and doses a great job.
Best experience I've ever had buying a used vehicle! I'll be going back next time and highly recommend them! Thank you Mason Koppen, I love my car, you are the best!
