# Summary The dealership receives praise for excellent service and customer satisfaction from repeat buyers, but experiences significant criticism regarding unresponsive communication, inconsistent service quality, and problematic management interactions that have left at least one customer frustrated and feeling dismissed. Issues range from unanswered phones to unresolved mechanical problems following service, compounded by what customers perceive as poor treatment and lack of accountability.
No one to answer the phone?!
My 3rd Hyndai, personally. I'm super satisfied.
Excellent service.
Excellent service
SERVICES: My rating for service received on other days: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️, especially for the competence and courtesy of the reception staff in the service area. My rating for today's service, June 8, 2026: ⭐️, specifically for the poor customer service from management. Now, it's quite striking that after reading the comments, I feel normal again, because after receiving mistreatment and rudeness from the manager named Christian, I realize that this is a common attitude for him (I hope it's not the same for everyone else) and that it's not exactly discriminatory behavior on his part, since I'm an immigrant without native French. Yes, this man made me feel so bad that I even started to think the treatment was due to racial bias. So, I see that it's routine. I quote almost verbatim some of his statements: -Finish going, we have to close, -Go, the door is over there, -We have no solution for you, you're not right, you have no argument, -Do what you want, go wherever you have to go, -Me: And good faith? Absolutely not, you signed (indirectly implying: -you trusted), -You don't have the right to a copy of the report, it's internal, let Hyundai or another department request it if they want it, etc… Subject of my quote: Post-service inspection performed a week ago for the installation of summer tires, including balancing and a 2025 Hyundai Ioniq6 recall. Post-service vehicle problem: Vibration at high speed, tire pressure and air sensors illuminated on the dashboard. Feedback: No solution. The service department did not detect any problem. After a tense discussion with reception (which I regret), it was agreed that yes, there are possible causes for the problems: 1- Vibration: no attempt was made to calibrate high-speed vibration on the machine (unlikely), high-speed road testing is prohibited by law, and the tires are in poor condition (a presumption not readily apparent, but a 9/10 bet by the company). 2- Sensors: nothing concrete was done, nor was any initiative proposed to detect and resolve the issue. I, the customer: I accepted the reasons for the vibration and agreed to disregard the sensor issue. Why continue? Right now, the dashboard of my IONIQ6 looks like a Christmas tree. I continue and quote verbatim from "By Management" regarding the vibration, which seems to be the central point of the feedback: -The service here doesn't fail. -You have no argument; your tires are bad. -The only thing I can do is order some for you? Second and final round: Making the customer pay for a post-service checkup that reveals the same problems: wheel balancing followed by vibration. Tire replacement followed by active tire pressure and air sensors. Reason for paying for a post-service checkup: -Hyundai Shawinigan or Hyundai General apparently doesn't offer a warranty after tire services. -The customer must pay for another service, whether a checkup or a diagnostic. Management's exact words: -You requested a new diagnosis for a different problem (?) and as such, -Pay and leave. The customer🤯: I never asked for a new diagnosis, nor did I mention it, but I signed the initial report when I left the car keys, without ever reading it because I trusted them. However, the purpose of the appointment was clearly stated in the report and is supported by a call recorded immediately after the previous service. I, the customer, paid; I didn't refuse, but I complained that it was unfair. Result: Service paid for twice, no solution, and, even worse, with the added burden of mistreatment. At Hyundai Shawinigan, if your service and product management must necessarily be handled by the Manager, do yourselves a favor and find another dealership, or, failing that, choose another brand. Here, the customer has no right to question the service work or complain. What are Hyundai's standards? Are you kidding me? Note: I am available to provide all evidence. I am currently considering sending this story to Hyundai CEOs and all regular channels.
