# Summary The dealership receives consistently positive feedback regarding its sales staff professionalism, smooth purchasing process, quality vehicle selection, and attentive customer service, with customers particularly praising specific team members for their helpfulness and efficiency. However, one customer reported a serious concern about an undisclosed salvage history that was not revealed at the time of sale, resulting in a significant depreciation in vehicle value and an unsatisfactory resolution when the issue was raised with management.
My experience dealing with IMG has been great. Kayla in the sales department is very professional and effective. We had not wasted a lot of time going back and forth. Everything is straightforward. Matt in the delivery team is super helpful. He delivered the car a weekend before the original commitment. We are very happy with this used car that we bought from them. They have a lot of very nice cars onsite, especially the more premium brands. Check them out if you are in the market looking for a higher end used car. You will not regret.
Matt & Matty are the best. Bought my tesla model Y from them and the process was extremely smooth and easy. Matty had my car turned over way faster than i had expected and couldn’t have asked for a better car buying experience. Matt was great at explaining everything and helping me navigate the best situation for financing.
WARNING TO ALL BUYERS — Based on my experience, I would not purchase a vehicle from this dealership. I bought a car here and later discovered an undisclosed salvage history that was never mentioned to me at the time of sale. After a detailer pointed out what appeared to be frame damage, I investigated further and found that the vehicle had been reported to NMVTIS through Copart, a national salvage auto auction — a history that did not appear on the title or on a standard Carfax (see photos attached). The vehicle's records show movement from Texas to Rhode Island, and this salvage-auction history did not carry onto the Rhode Island title. I purchased the vehicle at full retail price — the price you'd expect to pay for a clean-title car. A standard Carfax showed a value in line with that price, but multiple dealers including CarMax appraised it for $25,000 less once they reviewed industry history databases and found the salvage-auction record — a substantial gap that a Carfax alone does not reveal. I later confirmed the salvage-auction history through an NMVTIS report. In my experience, the standard Carfax did not surface any of this. I'd urge anyone buying from a dealership to independently run an NMVTIS report before purchase, and to ask in writing whether the dealer has done the same, so you don't end up where I did. When I contacted the dealership about the salvage history, the conversation was not productive. In my experience, the salesman (Fran Clairmont) was dismissive of my concerns, denied the history, and stated that they run vehicles through NMVTIS "as a courtesy" despite not being required to. I found the exchange unprofessional. I'm sharing my documentation and photographs so prospective customers can review the facts and draw their own conclusions.
Had a good experience with IMG. They sell nice cars at competitive prices so they don’t need to be pushy. My 2024 Nissan Leaf was immaculate and IMG supplied a Level 2 aftermarket charger rather than a cheap Level 1 charger. Would definitely consider returning in the future.
Had a great experience! Hassle -Free and I much appreciated ownership reaching out to me asking if I needed anything or had any concerns after buying the car . Thank You again ! I love the car !
