I popped in unexpectedly at the dealership, inquiring about serpentine belts as mine had cracks in it. The team in the service department were friendly, very approachable and extremely accommodating. They listened to my concerns, looked up parts and walked me through the process of figuring out my car problem. I ended up booking an appointment and luckily got in that afternoon! The dealership was clean and the Customer Service area was well stalked and very comfortable It’s definitely a welcoming inviting place. This was my first experience and will not be my last. I was impressed and wanted to share because if you’re looking for a nice relaxing experience at a car dealership come to Island Honda in Courtenay, BC. Oh I forgot to mention the drive-through service….. You don’t even have to get out of your car. I had such a great experience with Peter and Tal at Isle Honda in Courtenay. Peter helped me purchase my very first vehicle, which unfortunately was totaled on February 6th. When I had to go through the process again, it was honestly a pleasure dealing with them both. Peter is extremely knowledgeable and really listens to what you’re looking for. If you tell him what you want in a vehicle, he truly does his best to find the right match for you. Tal was also incredibly helpful throughout the process and took the time to help me choose the right vehicle. I really appreciate all the time, effort, and amazing customer service from both of them. September 2023, put a deposit on a FL5 Civic Type R. Was told there was no other deposits or buyers in line. Each time I checked in my sales guy didnt appear to remember dealing with me. About 6 months ago he told me that Honda had awarded the dealership a car. Long story short, when the car came I was some how magically 3rd in line. They told me it was the next that would be mine (riiight). After three years of waiting patiently I decided to pull my deposit as of today. Unfortunately this is the issue with dealers and this car. Its unobtaibium unless you want to pay over MSRP. Would be a 5 star if I recieved my car, 1 star for the waste of my time and hopes.

Larry and I were totally pleased with the service we received from the Island Honda. We never felt a "push" from our sales person Peter Mallany, who made sure I got a good cup of coffee, after a day of purchase details. The service we received when we had to go back and get a lesson on some of the new to us items on the car was both kind and quick. True customer service is an art, and Island Honda is a leader in it, Thank you
