I am new to town. I thought I had been referred to this facility, to purchase a trailer, by a friend. Instead, he was trying to refer me to another trailer dealer on the same road. Nonetheless, I found a trailer that I thought was suitable. I thought it odd the salesman asked me to provide my social security number, to make a cash purchase of a new trailer. However, thinking this was the facility my friend expressed confidence in, I gave him my social security number. He then asked me to sign a paper that was entitled something about buying a used automobile. I told him that I was not buying a used vehicle. He said I had to sign it, nonetheless. I took my check back and left. The salesman, who might be owner for all i know, spoke in what i considered to be diatribe. I don't care what Louisiana law says. I just want to buy a new trailer for cash, not give my social security number, not sign papers regarding purchase of a used vehicle, etc... Later, two people told me that this business is not to be trusted. My strong recommendation is to stay as far away from this business as possible. Shortly thereafter, I did purchase a trailer from the dealer who my friend had intended to refer me. It was easy, did not require a social security number, etc... Of note is that the first dealership stated he did not offer any warranty and that I would have to go through the manufacturer. Folks, again, I recommend you stay as far away from that dealer as you can, if you're looking for a trailer or a used car.

HORRIBLE!!! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. Guy had a nasty attitude soon as we walked thru the door. Then got mad because I gave that same energy back after letting it slide multiple times. We wasn’t even greeted or nothing. Very unprofessional. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!

This place is the most horrible type of business. They prey on people already down. They sell cars that are in need of repairs and say they have a warranty yet when they rush you past the sign here before you can read. There is no warranty. They sell cars worth 8 thousand for 30 thousand by the time you finish their lease to own. Please for your own safety do not do business here. If you do take the contract home read it over and do the math.

They sell vehicles that are in need of repairs. 4 days after I bought my car it had to have $214 in repairs, each week for 4 weeks I had to take it in for repairs-$214-147 a week. I finally took it to a mechanic other than the service center for Jackson Automotive & car was finally fixed for $18 air filter!! All that $ spent on unnecessary things & was told possible $800-$1,000 to get it running properly & air filter fixed it. Went to an attorney and was told Jackson Automotive was Known for doing this to customers. Beware!!
