# Summary The dealership receives overwhelmingly positive reviews praising exceptional customer service, knowledgeable staff, fair pricing, and smooth transaction experiences, with particular commendation for personalized attention to both local and out-of-state buyers. However, one significant negative review details serious concerns about misrepresentation of completed vehicle maintenance work, inadequate transparency regarding safety issues, and disputes over warranty coverage that left the customer with substantial out-of-pocket repair costs.
OH NO!!!! Another dreadful car shopping day. We'll not this time. My wife and I had the best experience buying our very first jaguar. Bradley was the best car sales person we have experience with. In our life time we had over a dozen of different types of cars from ford and Honda all the way to BMW and Mercedes. None of these other places even try any type of effort to have ur business. The negotiations went very smoothly. They pretty much gave me what I was asking. I checked websites to see the max trade in for my jeeps and it was roughly 1100. They offered us 2100 almost doubled. Now let's talk about goodies. Got a hat chocolates key chains and even a car wash kit. Didnt even know dealerships give out goodies. Driver side jaguar mat had a little hole. Bradley sent me a whole new set in two days. Makes me feel like I should upgrade my ride as well. Best experience ever. If they would let me rate 10 stars I would. Would be telling friends and families about this place for sure.
Bought a Jaguar F-Pace from JLR Akron yesterday and had a superb experience. Antwain, my client advisor, was singularly impressive, professional, and responsive. Emily, the sales manager, was excellent, fair, and honest. I highly recommend this dealership and will not hesitate to return if the opportunity arises in the future.
I’m writing this so others don’t go through what I did. I purchased a 2022 BMW X6 M50i with ~25,000 miles, priced near $63,000, from Jaguar Land Rover Akron. I’m an out-of-state buyer (over a 4-hour drive), so I specifically asked for transparency and documentation before pickup. I was told in writing by the salesperson that the rear brakes had been replaced and a brake flush was done. I requested the service invoice multiple times before pickup and never received it. After taking delivery, brake noise persisted. I assumed it was residual from recently replaced rear brakes — because I was told they were done. To be safe, I took the car to a certified BMW dealer. That inspection revealed: • Rear brakes had NOT been replaced • Front brakes were also worn and in urgent need of replacement • No brake flush had been performed Only after I provided proof of the salesperson’s text did the dealership agree to pay for the rear brakes at a BMW facility out of state. However, the front brakes — which BMW documented as urgently needed — were refused, despite being part of the same inspection. The dealership later claimed they “acted in good faith” by paying for the rears. That’s not good faith — that was correcting a misrepresentation after being confronted with written proof. If I didn’t have that text, I would have been stuck. What’s worse: • The brake noise continued immediately after the rear brakes were replaced • BMW repeatedly documented that the front brakes were declined by the dealership and remained an urgent safety issue • I was asked to drive the car several hours back for reinspection instead of authorizing the documented repair • The dealership later claimed they were never shown evidence — despite being in direct contact with BMW, receiving photos, videos, and written findings Ultimately, I am left to pay ~$2,200 out of pocket to replace the front brakes (pads and rotors) to make the vehicle safe. The car itself is excellent. The experience was not. If a dealership can’t or won’t fully recondition a vehicle — especially safety items like brakes — it should be sent to auction, not sold at top dollar with partial fixes and shifting explanations. I would strongly advise out-of-state buyers, or anyone relying on representations of completed service, to proceed with extreme caution. Gary’s response is misleading. He was provided photos, videos, and direct communication from a certified BMW dealer, including a written quote for the required front brake service — which I have now attached here for anyone to see. The only reason the front brakes are not on the repair order is because Gary declined the work, not because the issue didn’t exist. Claiming no evidence was provided is simply false. This is not a documentation issue — it’s a refusal to take responsibility.
I recently had my vehicle serviced at Jaguar Akron, and as always, it was a great experience. The team is consistently professional, efficient, and attentive to detail. Communication is clear throughout the process, and they make everything seamless. It’s reassuring to know my car is in good hands every time I visit. Highly recommend their sales & service departments.
Everything was seamless from beginning to delivery. Since I wasn’t a local customer Matthew Sutherland sent me multiple videos and pictures of the F-Pace. He worked efficiently and diligently through the entire process. The finance signing was smooth and the customer relations associate came out to congratulate me as well. Great job everyone!
