# Summary The service department has faced criticism for significantly higher pricing than competitors and diagnostic charges that customers dispute, with several instances where independent mechanics provided substantially lower estimates for the same repairs. However, the sales team has received praise for professionalism and thorough customer service during the vehicle purchase experience.
For some reason I can't finish writing an email because it keeps cutting off. I'll try to make this quick..I spent over $1600 so far on fixing the driver side door lock (the finger swipe). They informed me that they would charge me another $700+ for checking out the problem any fuprther. With that amount of money invested already in fixing the problem, I felt that your staff might not be up to the task of completing the job and that I was being charged way more than normal and more than I could afford. The door could unlock okay and all the other doors were working fine. So, I opted to not go any further. I am pursuing other options on getting the door fired. As a result, I can't give your service department even close to a good rating. In the past couple of years I have noticed that your prices have gone extremely higher than other companies. Thanks Robert Jackson sends
Recently had my F-Type S in for annual oil change and state inspection. Was told it needed a $2,000+ repair to simply pass the safety inspection. No video or photograph proof of the issue was provided, even upon request. Car has 26k miles on it and is 10yrs old in pristine condition. After failing the safety inspection, vehicle was taken to a different shop to which the paperwork showing failed inspection from JLR Allentown was provided. This shop could not identify any safety issues and passed the inspection. Buyer beware.
Devin was fully prepared when we arrived and made the entire experience seamless. He spent most of the day with us to ensure every detail of the sale was handled thoroughly and professionally. He was extremely helpful in answering all of our questions, and his post-sale communication has been excellent. We couldn’t have asked for a better sales experience.
Took my jaguar F-Pace in the other day. I had gotten a previous diagnostic from my personal mechanic g f or a water pump and collect bar running along the back of the engine. I explained the issue, but they insisted on their own diagnostic costing me 259.00 to tell me the same thing. They then gave me an estimate of 5,200 dollars to complete the job. I took it to another garage. Their estimate was 2,400 dollars. Big big difference. I can't justify paying 250.00 PER HOUR. Outrageous. Didn't offer any of the updates either that I know my car is eligible for. Not going back I saw Mr. Wilson replying to my review. First, any brand new car should be able to get solfware updates. That should be standard when you purchase a car for over 60,000. Once the warranty runs out excuse is negligence on your dealership. That's terrible you only do updates for cars in warranty. As far as your trained jaguar mechanics, it's a car. They are not brain surgeons They are mechanics that work on cars. Are they worth 250.00 per hour, hell no. I have a bachelors degree and two masters and I don't think I made 250.00 per hour, which is just ridiculous. As far as jaguar parts, I don’t think they are better than regular parts that can fix the issues. If jaguar parts are so good, why does it need replacing already after just 50,000 miles? Your response doesn't reflect my complaint. No, I shouldn't have been charged 259.00 for a diagnostic that was previously done. I brought it in for an estimate only. For your records, the car was fixed for 2,400 dollars instead of your suggested amount of 5,200. Saved more than half!!! Won't be back!
I took my jaguar in due to losing my keys. I had to buy new keys (2) that didn't work and got an additional two more from them! They could not get the keys programmed and stated that it might be something with the instruments inside where you put the key. Nevertheless, I ended up paying over $3,000 dollars after all of the so-called possibilities of what was wrong and ended up towing my car back from there. I went to a local mechanic in fountain hill and they were able to program my keys for less than #350.00! Truly disgusted with Jaguar dealer and never again will I go there again.
