James Toyota

I never bought a vehicle at this dealership but I had an old Corolla and went to James Toyota about 3-4 times for both maintenance and diagnosis/quote. One time I was there to get diagnosis on rattling sound, and 3 hours later I got recommended to change heat shield at a significant fee. But they also recommended whole bunch of other things including brake and gave me a quote well over $2000. I paid like $200 for diagnosis and nothing is fixed yet. I went to another shop with my car still making that noise, and they fixed it right away and also told me my brake is good. Another time I was at James Toyota for tire change and they forgot to pack my my tires that they just took out. I had to come back and get it but no one even apologized. When I was there to meet sales for a new car, oh boy, everyone was so nice. I get it that it's a business, but if you have an old car that needs fixing or need a general maintenance, this is not the place you want to go. This shop is focused in "selling" business and not in "service" business.
