Not the type to leave a review, but this truly upset me, my parking hill assist locked up 30 minutes before my scheduled oil change, called them to let them know my situation, told me they’d wait to hear from me for the appointment, no advice on recommendations to get it to unlock, called Walker Automative to see if they could take a look at it, they couldn’t but immediately got me on the phone with a technician to see if they would help me just to get me a mile down the road, finally made it to Jay Hatfield after calling a tow truck, and told them specifically not to turn off the car because the hill assist was not on and I didn’t want it to get locked up again, immediately turns the car off and it’s stuck in the parking lot, after sitting for over an hour, Nick calls me back and asks me how I got it unlocked the first time and they probably couldn’t work on it till Monday anyway, quotes me over $540 for a part that cost $40 and less than an hour to install… fast forward a day, Gary’s Family Auto in Oronogo got me in, quotes me $300 less and finds a transmission leak, something that should have been found in 27 point inspection, also my transmission fluid was black, even though all fluids were checked just 2 days prior, called them back to see if there was any documentation and the guy on the phone told me they don’t keep records via computer and to “bring it back in”. I’ve bought 2 brand new cars from you in the past 5 years, there is clearly no loyalty to long-term customers here.

Our salesman is Billy Holland and he is by far the best car salesman we have ever been through. He goes above and beyond to make sure your experience is top notch. Highly recommended.

I think they should change the name to Jay (Carvana) Hatfield, if they plan on staying with the sticker price. The saleperson is new, so this wasn't on him, but on their current management instead. Showed up with cash in hand (check) and ready to buy and I told the salesman that. Found the car we wanted, test drove it home and then made our low offer to hopefully meet in the middle. The SUV needs new tires, which will cost $700 and they countered with "we could take off a few hundred dollars". So, we found the same make, mileage, a higher quality version, with more power and this dealership (in Paola) is throwing in a new set of tires for $3,000 less. I tried to buy local, but I wasn't important enough to work with, so I will be driving tomorrow 5/29/26 to Paola to make a deal with someone who wants my business. I have a father in-law and son that will be looking to buy cars soon....I wonder if I will recommend Carvana Hatfield?

Bought my truck at Jay Hatfield in Frontenac KS, on Friday September 13 last year it was a great find thanks to Billy Holland. He put me in a vehicle that wasn't even on the market yet and I'm happy he did. It's been a awesome upgrade from my old truck and I will definitely look into Jay Hatfield for future vehicle purchases!!!
