The dealership receives notably polarized feedback, with some customers praising exceptional sales and service experiences with staff members who go above and beyond, while others report significant frustrations with service department communication, professionalism, and accountability issues. The contrast suggests strong performance in sales operations but inconsistent service quality that has led some long-time customers to seek business elsewhere.
This is not my first experience buying a new vehicle from a dealership, and this is not the only dealership I contacted when shopping around for a new car. The reason that Jim Click Hyundai got my business is because they earned it. I reached out to other dealerships around Tucson and in/around Phoenix. I had to put in extra effort just to get ahold of the sales folks at other dealerships; it's as if they didn't want to sell another car, like they were content with the bare minimum. Everyone that I interacted with through Jim Click, from the moment I first inquired online, to their first call to me, and all the way through to taking delivery of my favorite car purchase to-date, everyone was invested in ensuring my experience was perfect. I have worked in sales and customer service my entire career and am now in Real Estate Sales, so I know what it takes to wow a customer and build the rapport that they tell their friends and family that they can't go anywhere else when the times comes to buy their next car. That is the level of service and follow-through that I received from Jim Click Hyundai of Green Valley. In particular, Uli Villa and Paul Fernandez made the whole process easier and stress-free. They made sure I invested in the right warranties that made sense for me, explained everything thoroughly, introduced me to the folks over in Service, personally helped me set up my phone and other features of the car, and have contacted me several times since I drove off the lot to check in and see how things are going and helped me troubleshoot my BlueLink and some other tech features of the car. 5-Star service all the way through! Thank you, you'll be receiving other business from us and our friends.
I had a very unpleasant treatment at the dealership from the service representative, Bri. I took my car on 5/27/26 and was totally disregarded as a customer. I have bought my three cars from this dealership and never had any issues with customer service, but yesterday was a different matter. Bri, was very unprofessional and unhelpful throughout my visit and later when I went to pick up my car. She doesn't have any regards for customer service - unless it is selective for those she chooses to be polite to. I felt ignored when asking questions, and communication was unclear regarding service timelines. What frustrated me most was the lack of follow-up and respect for my time and the distance this dealership is from my house. I expected better customer care, especially from a business that relies on trust and long-term relationships with customers. I hope the management, Ruben and Patricia take these concerns seriously and improve the way all customers are treated in the future by Bri.
The communication systems that they use are not effective or efficient. You get a text message saying to reply to the text and nobody replies back when I called the number I gotta run around finally to the person that I was connected with and their response was they don’t know where those text messages go. I arrived early for my appointment. I waited and asked three different people about talking with somebody in service for my appointment. Nobody knew who to send me to. I was pretty disappointed in this process after waiting over 30 days to get an oil change appointment which took over two hours.
I am extremely disappointed with the way Jim Click Hyundai in Green Valley handled my recent service visit. I dropped my vehicle off on January 30th for routine maintenance and a multi-point inspection. After picking it up, I drove to get coffee and immediately noticed that my front camera lens was cracked when it appeared on my screen in the drive-thru. This damage was never mentioned to me during pickup, despite the inspection being completed. I contacted the dealership right away and was told by my service advisor that Ruben, the service manager, would not review the cameras until February 1st. It felt like end-of-month quotas were more important than addressing a customer concern. I followed up again on February 2nd after hearing nothing, only to be told the cameras had been reviewed, yet I was not invited to view them. When I asked to review the footage together, I was told, “What happens if nothing shows up on the camera? What are you going to do?” This felt like my concern was being dismissed and used against me, rather than handled professionally. As a long-time customer, I expected cooperation and good faith — not defensiveness. On February 4th, I returned with my son to review the footage. When I walked in, I was met with eye rolls and comments like, “She’s here again,” which confirmed that staff had been speaking negatively about me. This was extremely unprofessional. During the review, we learned that photos taken during intake were poor quality and only showed corners of the vehicle. My son asked why cameras aren’t included in the bumper-to-bumper inspection, and Ruben admitted they should be, but “they are not” because cameras are “new.” This is hard to believe given how common they are on modern vehicles. He also told my son he was “reaching,” which was inappropriate and disrespectful. While reviewing the footage, the only possible cause we observed was a technician leaning on the front bumper while servicing the vehicle, which could potentially cause damage if enough pressure is applied. Instead of acknowledging this possibility or working with us, Ruben acted as if he had “won” and became increasingly dismissive. He spoke at length about his 22 years with the company and said he was brought in to rebuild customer trust — yet this experience was the exact opposite. It was handled as “our word versus yours,” with no genuine attempt to retain us as customers. His only solution was for us to pay for the part while he “covered” labor, which he claimed was a four-hour job at $199/hour. This was misleading, as labor is based on technician rates, not dealership pricing. He also inflated numbers to make it seem like he was helping, while offering the part at cost plus 10%. Overall, Ruben’s attitude was unprofessional, dismissive, and condescending. Accidents happen, especially in service environments, and how they are handled matters. In this case, there was no accountability, empathy, or real customer service. We will not be returning to this location and will be taking our business elsewhere, like many other Green Valley residents who have already warned us about this dealership.
We arrived around noon, as soon as we parked this gentleman approached and greet us with an smile. Alberto provided us with an excellent service, very honest, very understandable, so kind and friendly, we were about to leave and come back when a SUB Santa Fe is available because the ones available were not sold with all the features we want. Alberto asked us to wait a second, he saw then big truck parked outside with all new vehicles. He came back and told us good news there was one available and we got to drive it! then very easy he asked us to sign some paperwork and referred us to the Financial Manager, Zach, another fine gentleman who after few minutes he prepared the documents for us to sign. around 4:50 pm we left with our new Hyundai Santa Fe! Thank you Alberto and Zach for your excellent services!
