Very disappointing experience with Jim Pattison dealership. We went through the process to purchase a RAM 1500 — credit was checked, paperwork was signed, trade-in details for our 2024 Jeep were completed, $1,000 deposit was paid, and even ICBC/insurance steps were completed with our plates moved over. We were told everything was good and were expecting to pick up the truck. At the last moment, we received a call saying the terms had changed and now they wanted an additional $5,000 down payment. The frustrating part is that we were upfront about our situation from the beginning, including my wife being on maternity leave, and this was disclosed before signing. Instead of addressing everything properly beforehand, it became an issue only at the final stage. Buying a vehicle is a big decision and customers should receive clear communication before paperwork, insurance, and trade-in steps are completed. This experience caused unnecessary stress, wasted time, and disappointment. I expected a much more professional and transparent process from a dealership with the Jim Pattison name.

I did an inspection at canadian tire for 100$ and found few issues which were needed to be fixed at dealer. I called Chrysler for approximate/quote to fix these known issues and they told me it would cost approximately $500 to do these fixes -I thought worse case could be $1000 (as dealers always tries to rip you off). So I booked an appointment and the day I went there they told me they had to do their own diagnostics to find the same problem I already told them. They charged me 430$ for that diagnostics and told me the repair cost will be around $4200 additional. So $500 for repairs turned out to be $430 for doing inspection only without any change to the car. I have never done inspections for 430$, feels like taking advantage of others hard earned money. This is place is just trying to take advantage. Strongly recommended to dont go here I have previously done diagnostics at south Van dealer. Still much better than this branch Better avoid going to any dealer for services. Worst experience ever. They need to value others hard earned money and try to help customer in their best interest. They just look to steal money from your pocket into theirs.

A full five stars for the staff! Kartik was warm and helpful during our testdrive. He also laughed at my jokes so that definitely adds a bonus star.
