I purchased a truck yesterday at Jim Shorkey Chevy on route 8 and had a great experience. I went in with the intent of looking at a Silverado and an F150 and making a decision after looking at both and I never made it to the Ford dealer. I walked in and was greeted by Brian Shaffer who was my sales guy for the day. Whatever stereotype of car salesmen is out there, Brian is the complete opposite of whatever that is. Super laid back, not pushy at all, and also just an easy guy to talk to. Next was Jad Sahyoun, the finance manager. Super friendly, laid out all the various add ons/warranties/etc. I took some, declined some and it wasnt that big of a deal. The only knock is that it took most of the day but that’s pretty much how these things go when buying a car. I felt treated fairly with the out the door cost, incentive packages, rates, trade ins/etc. No secret charges or games, all very transparent. Overall it was a very positive dealer experience and would certainly recommend to most folks to head over there if you’re looking for a car.

Like most people say, 'First impressions are everything.' Sadly, my very first visit and first service here for my vehicle purchased in Dec 2025, was dismal. Scheduled what I thought was a very simple service (15,000 miles) and front brake check. I get a call less than 2 hours before the appointment window, to be told no Qualified Technicians are working on Saturday, and brakes will not be reviewed. Okay. Then my 15,000-mile service inspection seemed more like a pricey $99 Oil/Filter change, with me and the Service Manager RESETTING my Oil Life indicator. Wow, such Quality. Doubtful I'll be back. My $99 'Service' seemed awfully quick and rushed for no reason. Very nice lady ahead of me was getting her car inspected. At Noon, the dealership closes at 1:30 pm. Yikes😬.... that seems really suspect to rush a yearly Safety and Emissions Inspection. Be careful with these types of Dealerships. Stay safe.
