Jones Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram

I visited the dealership with my daughter looking to purchase a new order Jeep vehicle using an automobile purchase program offered by a major warehouse club; the warehouse automobile purchase program has pre-negotiated pricing and discounts that are intended to avoid haggling. We were apparently randomly paired geographically with Jones Jeep based on entering a zip code in the Phoenix area (note that there are several other Jeep dealers nearer to Phoenix that we later learned also participate in the warehouse club automobile purchase program). First the good (2 stars worth): We were greeted upon arrival after having scheduled an appointment and directed to the assigned salesman's (Gwin's) office. He was pleasant and had prepared a generic print-out that had most of the information we had provided in advance for the vehicle that we spec'd, but there were some errors and incorrect options. We were a little surprised by this since we had provided a build link from the Jeep website with the specific options and features that were desired. There were a couple of iterations trying to get the specification correct, and then we got some pricing. Now the bad: The pricing did not seem competitive with what we had seen at dealerships elsewhere. We had previous experience purchasing using the same warehouse membership auto purchase program for a different manufacturer's vehicle, and the pre-negotiated pricing discount was very good. We asked Gwin a few times if we were getting the warehouse pricing, and he confirmed that we were (this later turned out to not be true). When signing up for the warehouse club auto pricing program, the particular company provides a sheet with details of the dealership, contacts and a toll-free number. While we were at Jones Jeep, I called the toll-free number to get clarification and was told that if we were getting the negotiated warehouse pricing, we should receive a sheet that shows the warehouse pricing logo and the discounted price by vehicle with some details. This was not what was provided by Gwin or the sales manager, Aaron, despite them having said otherwise. We were apparently caught in a traditional car sales negotiation that we specifically were not trying to do. Upon challenging Aaron that we were there for the membership pricing, he warned that the pricing would be GREATER (puzzling?) but agreed to provide the warehouse pricing sheet. For us, this was confirmation of the dealership's misleading sales practices as they never identified to us that they were not offering the warehouse pricing for which our appointment was intended. They lost our trust at this point, but we persisted. This is where my review is speculative, but it took Aaron about 25 minutes to generate the warehouse membership pricing sheet which seemed bizarrely long if he already knew that the pricing was going to be higher than the dealer price. My speculation is that he was busy fabricating a fake pricing sheet to match the sales offer he and Gwin had presented. There were some mandated add-ons that were included and allowed by the pricing program, but the price was not competitive. We again called the warehouse automotive purchase program -- they were excellent, BTW -- and were informed that the price Jones Jeep has offered us was not the negotiated price / negotiated discount. We had the option of escalating the pricing inquiry with the warehouse automotive purchase team or canceling our auto purchase program with Jones Jeep; we did the latter as we no longer trusted Jones Jeep to fairly work with us. We requested to be assigned a different Jeep dealership from the warehouse club automotive purchase program and bought a new Jeep the following day from that different dealership. The warehouse pricing discount was approximately three times what Jones Jeep had provided on their sheet. Based on our experience, the recommendation is to use caution and do your research on pricing before buying from Jones Jeep of Wickenburg, Arizona.

I’m glad that their online sales manager low balled my over emails on my trades, was slow to reply, and wasn’t willing to email me about why they were paying so low on a minor accident vehicle so that I could finish a “Diminished value” claim to help with a purchase. I ended up going to Tempe Ram and got an EASY and amazing deal though them instead.

I can’t say enough good things about Rimmel Narsi, who is the Service Advisor at Jones Auto Group in Wickenburg, Arizona. I had my 2022 Jeep Gladiator towed in just before closing about two weeks ago with a strange and frustrating issue — the fuel pump system would suddenly stop working after about 100 miles of driving. A previous dealership in Kingman couldn’t reproduce the problem and sent me on my way, only to breakdown again 101 miles down the road, and have to be tow into Jones Auto Group. But Rimmel and the Jones service team just didn’t give up. Even though the problem was extremely hard to replicate, they stuck with it, investigated thoroughly, and ultimately discovered that the system firmware had somehow become corrupted, and was glitching periodically. They updated the firmware to the latest version, and since then, everything has been working flawlessly. On top of that, they found and repaired a faulty emergency brake lever and switch that I didn’t even realize needed attention. If you ever find yourself dealing with a tough-to-diagnose issue on a Ford, Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep, or Ram, I highly recommend Rimmel Narsi and the highly skilled mechanics at Jones Auto Group. Rimmel and his team of mechanics are patient, thorough, and committed to getting it right. I give them my highest recommendation — these folks truly care about solving the problem, not just pushing vehicles through.

This was the best vehicle purchase experience I’ve ever had and that was even despite the nationwide software issue they were effected by. Rick was an excellent sales associate who answered all my questions and Tim, the finance manager made everything happen pretty expeditiously considering having to do most of the paperwork by hand. We were given a very fair trade value on our vehicle and were able to wrap up the whole transaction in just a few hours. We also got the absolute best price that we couldn’t find anywhere else. If you are looking to purchase in the Phoenix Valley, I would highly recommend taking the little jaunt up to Wickenburg and giving them your business. You’ll be taken care of better than anywhere else. Highly recommended!

I drove many places and did much research on trucks prior to my purchase. I was disillusioned with the prospect of working with a car dealer. I spoke to a friend who assured me Jones in Wickenburg was not like the big city car dealers I had previously visited. We drove up to see Chuck and we talked about trucks. He told me how much it would cost and how long it would take. It happened exactly as he said it would. No pressure, no stress I kept waiting for something to go wrong and it never did. If you expect integrity when you buy your next car or truck, you will find it at Jones in Wickenburg.
