Everyone at the dealership was welcoming, offering us coffee and making us feel comfortable right away. They walked us through the car in detail and were open to negotiation, helping us reach a price we were both happy with. I bought my 2023 Mitsubishi Outlander LE gas model brand new. After 3 years and 41,000 km, here is my honest feedback on the vehicle and the dealership experience: THE PROS: - Incredible Sales Experience: A big shoutout to Brad, the sales executive. He was absolutely incredible, highly knowledgeable, and patiently helped answer all of my questions. - Perfect Family Layout: The 3rd-row 7-seater configuration has worked out beautifully for our family needs over the years. THE CONS: - Misleading Paint Protection Policy: I purchased the dealership's extra paint protection package, but it did not help me when I needed it. The fine print in the policy strictly covers actual color fading only, meaning it won't help with everyday surface wear. - Severe Factory Tire Cracking: The original factory tires that came with this car are already developing visible cracks in the rubber at only 41,000 km. I took the car to Costco for a seasonal tire swap, and their tire center flatly rejected working on them, citing major safety concerns. I was extremely disappointed to learn that these factory tires are completely excluded from the vehicle's warranty. - Premature Rear Brake Wear: My rear brake pads wore down to a dangerous 1mm at just 41,000 km, leading to an expensive repair. Frustratingly, the front brake pads still look completely fine. - Winter Sensor Blindness: Driving on the 401 highway in Ontario winters is highly stressful. A small buildup of slush or snow easily blocks the front radar sensor, causing the vehicle to suddenly force an abrupt speed slowdown and disable driving aids.
