I am very disappointed in KAR Auto after 5 years of cordial relationships and basic maintenance. In 2020 after having a newborn we went and purchased a 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee with the "Warranty Forever" and thought we had some piece of mind. A few repairs were done under the extended warranty they had convinced me to purchase, like air ride suspension and a control arm. Which gave me the impression that I had been doing all services correct. 5 years later my rear differential goes out, and I find out that my forever warranty is voided for getting an oil change at a different certified dealer. I called Jason in service asking when my differential fluid was last changed and he said, I don't think we ever had done that for your jeep, and I asked why not? He said because we don't do that on the vehicles with warranty forever. After 5 years of driving 100 miles there and back from Wisconsin for an oil change not one suggestion in my over 120,000 miles to get my differential fluid changed, but these people will bring your cabin air filter and wiper blades into the waiting room to show you for a up charged sale. I have never felt so let down in a dealership I once suggested to friends, and now I have a Jeep that doesn't drive due to service negligence! No warranty, nothing. Please go shop elsewhere this dealership is not for you!

Joel was very good to work with, they treated me very good showed me how to run the app and help set everything up and made sure it all worked the right way. Will be going back for another vehicle from them when I’m ready.

We had a wonderful experience buying our used car from the KAR group in Decorah, Iowa. Our sales agent, Anthony, was very personable and helpful. Another agent, Luke, knew everything about everything that we asked. And their finance person, Isaac, did everything he could to get us the best possible deal. I highly recommend this dealership to anyone who’s looking for the car that they think will be best for them— These people really care – five stars!

Turn away! Do not go to this dealership! My husband and I drove over 6 hours, two times, to get a truck! Saturday the tires and truck were fine! Monday we came back picked up the truck, brought it home to our mechanic and he said all 6 tires were bad. HERE IS THE THING! Saturday they were great conditions, car fax even shows new tires were put on 5k miles ago. Monday they were horrible! We know what to look for when buying new automobiles and tires on a dually was one of the top things we checked out. Seems like someone there had a great time in our truck after we left Saturday! Our mechanics words “ looks like a lot of burn outs, this car wouldnt pass inspection “ Horrible! So sad and disappointing! Now we have to spend about 3k for their joy ride.
