Kawartha Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram Fiat

I do not normally post negative reviews but I am hoping to save someone a lot of issues. The service manager is a scam artist. We took our 2017 1-ton diesel in for servicing on the door (the window was not working). We mentioned that we do not want the 67A recall on the emission system done because everyone we know that has preformed the recall has issues with the DEF system after it. Without our permission they accessed the software to "check something" and then said they could not preform the recall because our truck had been "modified", OUR TRUCK HAS NOT BEEN MODIFIED IN ANYWAY! He was going to submit an incorrect document to FCA just to be able to bill something to Chrysler. This is super unethical. Then we pick up our truck after the door was fixed and now our "service emissions" light is on and we have 300 km before it goes to limp mode. We drove the truck 1hour to drop it off yesterday morning and it had no issue at all until it left the shop. They are now going to charge us a diagnostic fee to see what is wrong with the emissions system. Darren at the service desk is great, the service manager Dave is up to no good. Funny thing is, I was going to start taking our growing ProMaster fleet in to get servicing there, looks like I will be going up the hill!

Outstanding customer service experience from beginning to end. Tijahna was friendly, professional, and found the best vehicle for me. Gary worked hard to find the best financial opportunity for me to take it home. Cannot recommend this 5 star team enough!

Service was great! I was not pressured in anyway. I am very satisfied with my purchase and the details of the vehicle were well explained to me at pick up. Where does a person go when trying to buy a vehicle? If you don't know someone, then let me recommend my guy. His name is Tung. He is easy to deal with. And I found the service at Kawartha Chrysler to be held at a very high bar. I am impressed. It will be years before I buy another truck, but when I do, I will be coming to Kawartha Chrysler First. Second, and only. You should come in and meet Tung. He will find you what You want to buy. Not what he wants to sell.

I recently bought my first vehicle from Al Doucette. I have been to a couple other dealerships and left those places feeling discouraged and unhappy with my service and the condescending salesmen. As soon as I walked into the doors at Kawartha Chrysler Jeep Dodge, I immediately felt welcomed. They don't work off commission which I think made the experience all the more comfortable, not once did I feel pressured! The coffee and donuts helped too. :D I drove a smart car prior, and the team did everything they could to get me the highest trade in deal possible. And they did! Al played the total "Dad" role which was awesome, he wanted to make sure that I found a vehicle that included the most important features to me, but also something I could comfortably afford on my budget. Another gentleman took me on the test drive, Craig, and he took me on the highway and also some back dirt roads with some not-so-great conditions to show me how well the Jeep handles them. I was very impressed!! Him and Al both made sure I knew all the features of my new Jeep and again made it their mission to instill confidence in myself and my first big purchase. When it came to the financing portion, Claire was very helpful. She knows all the ins and outs and she worked to get me the best financing rate possible. Warranty was encouraged, however I still felt no pressure to buy the extended warranty. The "big boss" came out on the day that I picked up my Jeep to congratulate me and thank me for my business. Also mentioned that the balloons were his idea! What a nice touch. Overall, I had an amazing experience and I would recommend Kawartha Chrysler Dodge Jeep to anyone looking to buy a car.. in fact, I already have! They have a referral program. :D I still haven't stopped smiling, thank you so much to everyone there, especially to Al!
