This establishment had a car listed on marketplace that seemed like it could be a decent deal for our daughter to get into something new. My partner called and spoke with the receptionist and got minimal information, but we were interested enough to go look, so we paid for a carfax report and got what details we could from that. We each left work early and drove over an hour to look at this vehicle. My partner drove it. Our daughter drove it and there were no major red flags. We went inside to talk and get more information. It was then that they disclosed that it had a new (used) motor in it. When asked they initially said they didn't know how many miles were on the motor, however when we were leaving they came out the door and said they had found the mileage. They stated they had recently replaced axles and done a variety of other jobs. While all that is fine, it would have been super helpful to know - either when reading the ad, or speaking on the phone or when reading the carfax report - that the motor replacement was never reported to. Please, be honest up front so potential buyers dont waste their time.

Grossly overpriced services and they have no clue what they’re doing, they will put things in wrong in order to charge you more when it doesn’t work. I brought my car to a different shop after i suspected that kontios was trying to get every dollar possible. Kontios said they put in all new plugs and coils but they only put 1 new plug in, and 1 new coil that wasn’t even put on the right misfiring cylinder! one of the spark plugs was so loose you could unthread it with your finger, and 2 others were only threaded partway in and seized up so the new shop had to soak the threads overnight to remove them. Do not go to Kontios if you value your money and vehicle!!!

Bought a car from here got it home the next day noticed a stutter. Turned out to be transmission problem they took it in (I got the warranty on the car) for them to fix it. About 4-5 weeks later we get a call saying it’s ready to be picked up (after hours) just to notice a new huge crack in the windshield. There’s absolutely no way they should have legally allowed us to take the car off the lot with a damaged windshield…

Went here today for an oil change and had a great experience. I had a 9am appointment and they took my truck in within minutes. They were very friendly and I highly recommend them if in the area. You can tell they are good people.
