Kramer GMC of Livingston

I had a scheduled appointment and informed the dealership of the issues I was experiencing with my vehicle. My vehicle was bright into the Kramer shop in Livingston Texas on March 11, 2026. Upon leaving my vehicle with them I asked if there was a loaner available because I knew there was something wrong with either the engine or transmission. I was told there was none available and I’d be out on a waiting list. A week passed by and no call or anything. I call the service department and ask for an update and they tell me they have to get with the technician and they would call me back, while on the phone I ask if there are any vehicles available and was told no. Another week passes and then the service department informed me that I’ll need a new transmission and an axle was leaking but everything is covered under warranty. So we start the process two weeks behind. I still don’t receive a loaner until three weeks, closer to four weeks of my vehicle being in the shop. I was given a 5 seater vehicle, but the one in the shop is a 7 seater. I attempted to make it work for a couple days with the smaller loaner vehicle, but do to my family size it was not possible. I called back and asked if there was a larger vehicle and was told “no,” “what do you expect me to do.” Needless to say my vehicle was with Kramer for close to two months. We did not get ours back until May 2, 2026. Once we drove it home (45 min drive) we could hear a noise while driving under 30 mph. I checked under the vehicle and found a hook attached to the undercarriage. I sent Kramer a photo and they replied, “ oh our service technician accidentally left that on.” They stated I could bring it back and they will remove it and check the noise. I will never do business at Kramer again unless I would like to be out of a vehicle for two months.

. Second time purchasing , 2023 jeep in early October 2023, no trade just straight buy. This time was a trade in , sales staff ask what I wanted for my trade, I answered with out the door price below $30k n exchange keys. Answer was yes we can, drove from fort polk Louisiana next day with grandson to complete the deal. Financing part took the longest. Would rate this an overall excellent experience. Got what I asked for, cannot get simpler than this. Traded in a 2022 GMC HD2500 for a 2026 GMC HD2500. Would recommend the straight forward/ direct approach, after all it is only business. Will continue to check what this dealership management team has to offer. Thanks Tom C

Great experience and although I did not have the best credit I was able to buy 2026 equinox with no money down and keep my payments reasonable. The sales person Seth Brown was amazing. I am so grateful.

My business was in need of a more heavy duty towing truck. So I reached out to Amber. Her and Mike got us taken care of in what had the be the fastest and easiest vehicle purchase ever! Went in to purchase a Truck. Our sales man was fantastic and we were in and out in four hours. On the way home the check engine light came on. They had already closed so we continued home. I called them the next day and informed them. Their sales Manager Brandon called me back and told me to take my vehicle to the nearest dealership and they would “Help get this taken care of”. There were major repairs that needed addressed and we were also informed that the truck had blatantly obvious signs of an extreme engine fire. They never informed us of an engine fire before purchase. The dealership was able to pull up the digital records to show when and where the codes were cleared off the vehicle. Before we bought it of course. After the dealerships communicating back and forth regarding the repairs and issues and failing to reach back out to me. I had to reach out multiple times to Brandon. He was very accusatory and belittling. He accused me of lying about circumstances regarding the state of the vehicle and miss understanding him. In short, he was just a nasty little weasel. Again our salesman was awesome but Brandon made this cozy small town dealership feel like we did some sleazy Craigslist deal. Buyer beware!!!
