I cannot say enough good things about the service team at Kunes Auto Group. While hauling two horses, we stopped for fuel in Morrison and, after filling the truck completely with diesel, noticed fuel pouring from underneath the truck. Up until that moment, there had been absolutely no signs of any problem. Although the leak slowed after a short time, we still had another five-hour drive ahead of us to Syracuse and knew we needed to have it checked before continuing. We stopped at Kunes and were immediately met with kindness, understanding, and a true willingness to help. It was late on a Friday afternoon, around 2:30 or 3:00 PM, and I know many places would have been eager to wrap up for the weekend. Instead, their team jumped right in. Because I still had my trailer hooked up with two horses inside, the technicians went above and beyond to avoid making us unload the horses and unhook the trailer. Before putting the truck on a lift, they got creative and used a snake camera to inspect the fuel tank. That extra effort paid off—they discovered a hole about the size of a baseball at the top of the fuel tank, likely caused by squirrels nesting or chewing through the area. The issue only became apparent when the tank was completely full, which explained why the fuel spilled after we topped off. Their primary concern was our safety. They strongly recommended that we turn around and make the hour-and-a-half trip back home to Dubuque rather than risk continuing five more hours east. They also suggested siphoning the fuel tank down to about half full to reduce sloshing and eliminate the risk of additional leakage or a potential heat-related issue. The team manually pumped diesel fuel out of the tank, helped us get the truck into a safer condition for travel, and sent us on our way with complete confidence that we could get home safely. What truly amazed me was that they did all of this—and did not charge us a single penny. In a stressful situation involving not only our vehicle but also the safety of our horses, the Kunes service team demonstrated exceptional professionalism, ingenuity, and compassion. It was clear that their only concern was making sure we, and our horses, got home safely. I am incredibly grateful that we stopped there that day. This group of technicians went far above and beyond what anyone could reasonably expect. If this experience is any indication of how they treat their customers, you can trust that you are in outstanding hands. Thank you to the entire Kunes service team. You turned what could have been a very dangerous situation into one where we felt safe, supported, and genuinely cared for.

Highly Recommend Kunes in Morrison. I had my car totaled, was without car for 2 weeks , desperately went to pay here buy here company. I signed paperwork, turned the key leave and engine light was on and after 6weeks , 3 payments, 3times the vehicle was supposedly fixed within 4 days engine light back on ...engine light still on and they keep pushing appointment. I had agreement with them to switch out the car and then when went to do this , they wanted more cash down payment. Referred to Kunes in Morrison. I was already prepared to hear the word "No" due to bouncing back from a Bankruptcy and rebuilding everything back . These guys , Jamie Pratt , Jamison and I believe Kevin had a hand in there, I drove off in the a absolutely fabulous Jeep SUV with low miles and a payment of basically my choosing. I was disappointed with my experience at Kunes Auto Group in Morrison. Communication throughout the process was frustrating, and I felt that my questions were not answered. I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Kunes Auto Group. I purchased a 2020 Chevrolet Trax expecting a reliable vehicle, but the head gasket failed far sooner than it should have. This has resulted in costly repairs and significant inconvenience. A major engine issue like a blown head gasket on a vehicle of this age and mileage is unacceptable. I feel let down by the quality of the vehicle and the lack of confidence I now have in my purchase. When customers spend thousands of dollars on a vehicle, they expect reliability and support when serious mechanical problems arise. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this dealership. Buyers should thoroughly inspect any vehicle and consider obtaining an independent mechanical inspection before purchasing. This situation has been frustrating, stressful, and expensive
