La Porte Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM

I bought a used Jeep from a private purchase. And took it right to the dealership for a good once over. I was fully aware purchasing a used vehicle would have issues, which is not the problem. When I dropped it off after hours. I called the dealership first thing in the morning and rattled off a list of things to get checked. I especially noted an exhaust leak that I wanted to get fixed amongst anything else found. After about three weeks, I was able to pick it up yesterday only to notice while driving back home that I could still smell the same exhaust leak coming up into the cabin. They replaced both exhaust manifolds and the catalytic converter. But somehow missed a botched exhaust pipe job that was taped up leading to an incorrect muffler ALL needing to be replaced. So about 12 hours of getting my car back after not having it for three weeks, I had to find someone else who would squeeze me in quickly only to be told they could’ve done the same job for $600 less and had everything done in the same day. The only reason I went to the Jeep dealership was because I bought a Jeep and didn’t know anything about it. I guess this isn’t the worst thing that could’ve happened, but it definitely burned a hole in my pocketbook and left me without a vehicle for way too long. I do not recommend.

I have know LaPorte Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram for over 30 plus years and I would not go to any other dealer. They are not down the street but driving to them is the number one. They are down home and make you feel you are their number one concern. The best
