Sutton, was a phenomenal, amazing, compassionate, great Customer Service Skills and very nice attitude. He was kind and sufficient, and knowledgeable within the car buying business I am very grateful that I was able to connect with him and be able to purchase my new used car for me and my family. I will definitely come back again within the next 4 to 5 years to purchase my next car and I hope that my children are able to come and purchase their cars from him. I am from Mississippi and contacted multiple dealers both close to home and also around the country looking for a Red Mojave. I ran across Lake Norman Jeep in North Carolina and touched base with them and worked directly with Chris Carnahan. We had very open dialogue and worked on numbers that were better than any of the 4 other dealers I had touched base with. I have purchased multiple vehicles over the years and this was by far the best experience. We completed all the paperwork remotely and ultimately the process from start to finish took a week and a half (my end, not theirs) and they were extremely patient and pulled vehicle for me while all paperwork was being completed and had slight delay in getting vehicle picked up (again on my end) and they put it inside, out of elements while it waited for transit. It was well worth it to work with them and get the right vehicle at the right price and it did not feel at all like the typical car purchase experience. I typically do not do reviews but felt obligated due to how good I felt about the process and working with Chris and his team. If close enough, visit in person. The finance guy Colin was very helpful as well, matter of fact he saved me a much of money the next day with another lender. I am very happy with my new truck and my shopping experience. Great buying experience – 2021 Ram 1500 Bighorn Little late on the review but back in 2025 we came in looking at a used Ram 1500 and left same day with the truck. The whole process was straightforward from the start. Chris was easy to work with — no pressure, answered everything I asked, and didn’t waste my time. I had my eye on a Ram Rebel which looked great but was a bit more expensive and honestly more truck than I needed. Chris didn’t push it. He took the time to understand what I’d actually be using the truck for and we landed on the Bighorn together — which turned out to be the right call. That kind of honesty is rare at a dealership. Easy to upsell someone on a higher trim, harder to talk them out of it when it doesn’t make sense for them. Even a year after the purchase when I signed up for a maintenance plan and had questions, Chris was still responsive and helpful. That kind of follow-through after the sale says a lot. When I eventually needed to cancel that maintenance plan, I worked with Jansen Johnson. Easy to get ahold of, handled it quickly, and was professional throughout — no runaround, no guilt trip about canceling, just got it done. Another example of solid after-sale service from this team. Overall, one of the smoother dealership experiences I’ve had at Lake Norman Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram. Just bought a 2021 Gladiator Mojave. Started the process online (as we lived out of state) working with Jared. Jared made the entire process very smooth and easy. Would definitely come back again if we decide to buy another Jeep in the future.
