Lakeside Motors

I purchased a used vehicle from Lakeside Motors in June 2025 for $8,850, financed through my credit union. The salesperson, Bret, represented the car as “well maintained.” The dealership provided an inspection report claiming no defects, but my mechanic later found long-term engine sludge, a blown engine, and a massive oil leak at the front, leaving me stranded on the highway. I’ve spent over $3,000 on repairs plus a new battery, and the estimated cost to replace the engine is over $10,000. The owner tried to blame the car’s condition on me driving 17,000 miles, but I maintained it properly with all necessary oil changes. The dealership offered only $1,000 reimbursement and suggested I replace the engine myself. I am still seeking fair resolution. I attached Photos of the long-term sludge buildup, and also the repair estimates that I ended up having to pay. The only estimate I did not pay was the $10,000+ one because that would’ve costed more than what the car was even worth even with the loan amount and interest. Save yourself the headache and DON’T buy here!!

Brent was excellent. I bought a 2015 Ford Fiesta with 120k miles here. Everything went as it should and was very smooth. The car was in even better condition in person than seen online. Highly recommend and if I’m ever in the market for a used vehicle I’ll be starting here.

Went to Forsyth location at tax time. Thought going to dealership I'd get a better vehicle than off marketplace. Got a car that we thought was nice and GOOD RUNNING. the sunroof was sealed shut, said it didn't leak, it DOES. it was rainy and cold so we turned on heater, but didn't check air. Was told everything was in good working order as it should be .. NO! There's no air conditioning. It's a black car with black leather seats, so me and my 2 kids just melt in this car so far this summer. Anddddd now the transmission is slipping just a few short months after buying it's from them! I'm so disappointed is an understatement!!! Most I've ever spent on a vehicle and it's crap!!! The roof leaks so there's many issues coming with that. I really thought going to a dealership was the way to go to get a good reliable vehicle for my girls and I. NO IT WAS NOT THE WAY TO GO!!! I would of been better off getting off marketplace on fb! So thank you lakeside motor for selling me a piece of junk with no warranty and paid an arm and a leg for it.

Went there on Monday after totaling our vehicle and we left extremely happy cuz we had a new vehicle. Bert was so nice and worked with us to get the vehicle we wanted. Highly recommend this car dealer, easy to work with and I absolutely love my beautiful new vehicle!

I went to the one outside of Branson and left one very happy customer! They will do their best to accommodate you and work with you. I paid my vehicle in full and they took a little money off so I could buy it out right. This was my experience. Depending on what you want, your experience could be different. I'm satisfied with my purchase.
