# Summary The dealership receives mixed reviews, with customers praising the sales team's professionalism and personalized service while expressing significant frustration with the service department's inability to resolve mechanical issues and poor follow-up communication. Multiple customers reported unresolved problems, unexpected repair costs, and what they describe as inadequate warranty support after purchase.
It was fast and simple truly great experience. I will definitely be back shout out to Jaxon and EMMA THEY ARE THE BEST. And the lady that does the ceramic coating I apologize I forgot her name but she is amazing. I was treated awesome with respect and understanding and I definitely will recommend and definitely be back. Truly amazing staff there. Emma even drew congratulations on my payment. It just truly was amazing. I left there every time with just tears of joy in my eyes..
10 out 10 do not recommend the service dept here. Had my car towed twice for same problem to them. They never fixed the problem. Was promised that either the service dept manager or a tech would be there to talk to me when I picked up my car and conveniently everyone was gone. Worst experience with this dealership.
There must be something about name Landmark. I’ve had misfortune of dealing with Landmark East in Springfield. They had my car for seven months!!!! No communication ever. I called left voice mails, emails to Jason. No replies nothing. They then proceeded to drive to Taylorville to finally have repair done. Finally told car is done. Shortly after I had purchased this car, back passenger tire kept going flat. I called spoke with Trevor/Tyler who was General Manager who said to bring it in. I did and I sat and sat and went walked to Mario’s, ate get back still no new tire put on. Funny story three months later come out of Walmart that same new replacement tire FLAT. The tire that Landmark had replaced. Service technician asked who put it on. I replied Landmark. He tells me they put in on backwards!!!!!!!!! Rental from Landmark was a 2025 Ford Escape. My son was taking lawn mower to mow a lawn and pulled lever on drivers side thinking it’s trunk unaware it was hood. Figures out opening trunk and proceeds to take off about 3 blocks down a busy street, Macarthur Boulevard the hood flies up hitting and breaking windshield while also, putting a large dent on hood. The repair for both cost me a 500 deductible and higher insurance rates. Ford has class action lawsuit due to fact they did not install lever requiring you to release lever to open hood. There have been numerous accidents, crashes, injuries because they chose to save $$$ to manufacture and install. It doesn’t say much about their concern for human lives. They chose profit over the consumers safety. It’s sad. I had always bought Fords. My first car was a Pinto in 1976. Then a two tone tan Ford Escort. I had a beautiful mint green Ford Focus, loved it.traded it in for another Ford Focus this time a sedan was great for hauling large items. Actually used it to move Daughter, then son to their own homes. Neither of them drive a Ford or want to. Long , long story hard to shorten. I’m summer I had to spend 2500 for brakes, struts and a re-alighnment. I did vin number search it’s been in four accidents none which was disclosed. I wish I would have went anywhere else than Landmark Ford. It’s telling in very fact none of employees there in November of 2025 when I purchased it are even still there!!!! The replacement General Manager is RUDE and DISRESPECTFUL. Receptionist accused my son of being a liar. Very unprofessional employees. Bathroom out of toilet paper and towels, healthviolation. THE END THAT’S ALL FOLK’S . This was just like a Bad cartoon. 🤣🤣
Bill Pinkston and his team are first class in every phase of my buying experience. They are the reason I drove 1.5 hours each way to purchase my new GMC truck. People buy from people and these folks make you feel like family. Thanks Bill and Landmark!!
I would give less stars. Will not be buying another vehicle from this place at all. 6 months into me having my truck. Already put 1000 dollars into repairs. Another family member now has 6000 dollars worth of repair on a vehicle that they bought 6 months ago. They provide little to no warranty on anything. And very little help. Almost could say they're as bad if not worse than other dealers I know.
