# Summary The dealership receives polarized feedback, with sales customers praising the professionalism and attentiveness of specific team members who deliver smooth purchasing experiences, while service department customers report significant issues including lengthy wait times, poor communication, incomplete work, and lack of accountability from management. These contrasting experiences suggest strong sales performance overshadowed by consistent service department problems that leave customers frustrated and unlikely to return.
Toni Marie is amazing! She worked with me to find exactly what I was looking for and made everything work within my budget. The entire team was a pleasure to work with and streamlined the car buying process to make it quick and easy! Can’t recommend enough.
Took my car here it seems the longest time ago by now. I’m talking at least 4 months. My service advisor told me in the first place by email (I have the email) that my car was covered by my 3rd party warranty. Surprise it wasn’t. I had to pay out of pocket. I really feel like they just strung me along regarding that situation so I didn’t service my car somewhere else. My service advisor in the first place was not very communicative if that’s a word but he got better as time went on. Now today was the big day. I picked my car up. Was dead when I arrived. Was not dead when I dropped it off. The valet key doesn’t work anymore. The check engine light was still on. Same code as it was when I dropped it off. I asked about it. They wanted me to get it diagnosed again (this place charges a diagnostic fee and uses it really as a trap to get your business) it’s waves if you do the service at their spot but not really saves you money because they charge an arm and a leg. I don’t know people if you’re asking me I’m going to say go to the Buick dealership on 11 mile and vandyke. I serviced my work truck there it was quick and painless if you want the hugest headache and you want to feel like you got bent over, go to this place here. Don’t make a same expensive mistake I made. If you do it’s on you for sure these guys take no accountability for nothing.
I purposely waited nearly two months before writing this review. I wanted to give this dealership time to make things right, unfortunately, that didn’t happen. Almost every oil change, I would ask about my brakes condition and was told they were fine. Each time the paperwork reflected the same. Then after hearing my rear brakes squeal, I decided to have them inspect the brakes during my oil change visit. This time I was told my rear rotors were damaged and both the rotors and brake pads needed replacing. As you can imagine, that was frustrating to hear after repeatedly being told everything was good. Still I stayed calm, agreed to the repair and even asked them to double check the front brakes while the vehicle was there. I was told the full service, including oil change and tire rotation would take about four hours. Instead, my vehicle sat there all day. I dropped it off around 8:30am and didn’t get it back until after 4pm. I had to get an Uber to the dealership because no one would return my calls. When I arrived, my truck was just being pulled out of the service area with no explanation for the delay. I asked to speak to the service manager Dan but was told he was in a meeting. I asked about my front brakes and the gentleman in service said the brakes and rotors didn’t need replacing. Less than a week later, my front brakes started squealing. The very brakes I was told were fine. I’ve attached a video for proof. That same day when I tried to clean my windshield, I realized my wiper fluid reservoir was empty, something that’s supposed to be filled during an oil change. I called the dealership, asked for Dan and left a message. He never called me back. I called again days later… still no response. At this point the issue is no longer just about poor mechanical service, it’s about a complete lack of accountability, care and communication. No customer should have to chase a service manager for a simple call back, especially after paying for work that wasn’t done properly. While it was once convenient to bring my vehicle here, I’ve learned that convenience means nothing without professionalism and integrity. I’d rather drive the extra miles to a dealership that values both its customers and its reputation. I will not be returning to this dealership nor will I recommend it to anyone.
This is the second vehicle I've purchased with the help of Alex Meeks, and once again, he exceeded every expectation. Consistently receiving this level of service says a lot about both his professionalism and his character. Alex always goes above and beyond to make sure you're looked after, taken care of, and treated with honesty and respect. He's genuinely one of the good people, and that's something you don't come across every day. I also want to recognize my sales consultant, Jake Jedynak. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful throughout the process. He made everything easy and was always willing to answer my questions. Buying a vehicle can be stressful, but the team at Les Stanford Buick GMC made it a genuinely positive experience. I highly recommend them, and I know I'll be back the next time I'm in the market for another vehicle. Thank you, Alex and Jake, for another outstanding experience!
I usually have a quick turn around here but for some reason this last experience the service was completely awful. I came in at 7:45am for just an oil change I waited for over three hours. I asked my service person for update at the two hour mark and he didn’t come back out to me until 45 minutes later to tell me that they just started on my car. At that point I took the shuttle home. While at home I got no communication on my vehicle update. The tracking that was given to me was not updated and when I called to get an update. I was hung up on the first time. I called again for him to say oh the technician should be almost done by the time you get here. I had people come in and out while I was there and my oil change took approximately 5 hours. Ridiculous. I then got quoted $900 for a mirror that is not broke… Ridiculous very poor service and communication.
