# Summary The dealership receives strong praise for its sales staff's professionalism, patience, and ability to help customers find vehicles that fit their needs and budgets, with multiple customers noting they would return for future purchases. However, service department pricing has been a significant concern, with at least one customer reporting charges substantially higher than industry standards for routine repairs and citing quality issues with parts used.
We had a great experience at this place! Maritza Sotelo was the one that helped us and she was wonderful and helpful with the process. I would highly recommended her! She’s really patient and nice to my daughter!
Great place to get a vehicle, salesman and sales manager were very professional. Went in looking at several different vehicles but after talking to them about where I worked and my price range they found I qualified for quite a few rebates through my employer on a new vehicle and it was obviously the best option. After some consideration I weighed my options and decided on a new truck. Very satisfied with my purchase and will definitely go through them next time.
I will give them 3 stars for the service time because they got me in the same day when my truck had a bad turbo boost leak, and i was over a barrel, but I'd give them 1 star for the price. They charged me $614.44 for a simple repair that I've done myself in 10 minutes in the past. (I am a mechanic, but generally work only on heavy equipment) After inquiring at other shops and dealers for a comparison after getting stuck with the bill, i found out what book rates are for a smoke test, and the book rate for replacing the turbo boot, ive been told it should not have costed more than $100 for labor (after diagnostics which would be 1 hour max for a smoke test to find the leak) $50 tops for shop supplies, and parts . ($123.90 for parts in my case.) My cost was $614.44 for the repair. (So more than double what most dealers and shops I called and asked for quotes quoted me) While I would say they did a good job, and that I was impressed with the speed of service, they gouged me badly on price because I did not get a quote beforehand, and they had it in their power to do so. While I would use them again if I had no other option, it would only be if I had no other choice and was over a barrel again where the cost of down time was greater than the price gouging I feel like I was subjected to [Edit: the price you extorted by doing a repair without giving me a price first when you should have diagnosed the issue, then gotten approval for the repair was more than 300% what most independent shops would charge, and more than 200% what most dealers would charge based on quotes from 2 other dealers. The numbers I listed are heavily biased in your favor. Last time when I replaced the turbo boot, I paid $40 for it back in 2018 at retail price. The one you installed is aftermarket and you charged me $123.90 for it, and $387 for labor for the 10 minutes needed to remove the burst one and replace it. An additional $50 for unspecified "shop supplies" which I will be generous and assume was the smoke test or something because that makes no sense otherwise. The photos show the boot that burst and the new one which you installed. It is easily accessible right on top of the engine, and absolutely did not take hours to replace. Any competent mechanic could do it in 10 minutes. The book rate for that job is 30 minutes.] Edit No.2. Update: the turbo boot they installed lasted 4 weeks before it failed and left me stranded on the side of fhe highway, costing me $1500 for a tow truck because I had a trailer ehen it happened. This is why I have always been wary of aftermarket parts which they used for the repair. See the 3rd photo.
Our experience with Lewis Motors of Garden City was top notch. We definitely will return there for other purchases and highly recommend them and their service. Our daughter was traveling through there sometime back and had engine trouble. They took their time and helped her out. We greatly appreciated their effort and their attitude.
Gio and Orlando were absolutely great to work with. They listened and understood my situation and got me exactly what I asked for. This is my 3rd vehicle from the Lewis family and the 9th vehicle for the Guerra family. Thank you for always taking care of us and for always making our experience a smooth and friendly one.
