Libertyville Lincoln

My wife and I just purchased our new to us 2024 Hyundai Palisade from James at Libertyville Lincoln. This was such a smooth transaction from start to finish. We ended up finding the car online and it was the one we wanted. They had it priced very competitively, to where it made sense to make the 6.5hr drive from Minnesota down to Illinois. James was very up front with us and how good of an experience this would be with their dealership. He even mentioned he had a couple other clients that make the trip from MN and all over the states to get vehicles from them. We got there and the vehicle was exactly as it looked in the pictures. After signing the paperwork with Michelle we were given the keys and headed on our way back home. She had a great food recommendation for us as well, The Shanty up the road a little ways was great stop for lunch. James knew we had a long ride back and made sure we had a full tank of gas. Would buy a vehicle from them again. Great experience

I would not recommend buying a car from Libertyville Lincoln. In November of 2023, I purchased a used 2021 Toyota Rav 4 XSE Hybrid. It was disclosed to me that the vehicle had been in a front-end collision. I was presented with the Carfax and was assured the damage had been fully repaired. Visually, everything looked good to me, so I purchased the car. My salesman Shane Lyon was great. Michelle in the finance department was nice. I rear-ended someone during the last snowstorm. The body shop I took my car to reported there was extensive frame damage from the previous accident that would need to be repaired prior to the new repairs. The damage was hidden until they took the front bumper off. I spoke to Jake and Daniel at the dealership and Charles at the body shop to see if they would make this right. After sending them pictures of the frame damage from the prior accident, they refused to do anything for me. Despite owning a body shop, they would not even agree to look at my car in person to give me their own estimate and shirked any responsibility. I am extremely disappointed that Libertyville Lincoln would not accept any liability for the damaged car they sold me – even if it was unintentional. They wouldn’t even split the difference with me or offer me a discount. Libertyville Lincoln hung me out to dry. BUYER BEWARE!

We bought the car! They have a good selection of cars at reasonable prices. Their cars are in good condition as backed up by positive CarFax reports. The sales staff is courteous and helpful. We felt no pressure and we're given the time we needed to make our decision. In the end, we got the car we wanted and the deal we expected. We will return next time we are in the market for a car.
