# Summary The dealership receives highly mixed feedback, with customers praising individual salespeople like Dragan and Shawn for their professionalism and transparency, but expressing serious concerns about service department billing practices, poor follow-up communication, and inconsistent experiences with finance staff. While some customers report excellent vehicle purchase experiences, others cite deceptive pricing tactics, unresponsiveness to callbacks and voicemails, and aggressive sales tactics in the finance office that undermine otherwise positive interactions.

Worst service experience I've ever had. I bought my vehicle here, which was an issue all by itself, and i always try to use the dealer i purchased for service. The first 2 times i went were... ok? Nothing terrible, but something went wrong every time. But this most recent time? I will never go back after this. I went in back in October for a tire change over and oil change. I was quoted 279.98. I signed the paperwork showing 279.98. Then when I go to pick up, he states it's 380. When I showed him the paperwork that HE was holding, his excuse? 'Oh our printer was off, so it was printing things in the wrong sections'. (you can see if the provided photo there is a random 380 to the left of the date) Then wouldn't let me leave without paying this new made up total. Even said to my face I was wrong when I said I was quoted 279.98. The service manager was not available at the time, and it was late so I paid. Best part, i was the second person that day getting screwed, as the gentleman next to me was also asking why he was being quoted 1 thing, but told another when he went to pay and pick up. Then for WEEKS I tried to get them to call me back. I left texts at their service number they give (which they don't even respond to when you are actually getting service), left voicemails, and messages with the front desk. Never once received any call back. I went in 2 times and both time was told the service advisors couldn't help, and that the service manager was conveniently gone. It's only $100, and I've wasted far more than that just on trying to get them to respond to ANY form of communication. At this point, I just hope to save someone else from using these guys. Please, do not under any circumstances use these guys for service. They are 0-3, and just not worth the time.

First and foremost, I am not going to mention any names other than the Finance Manager, Jarrod, because he was the one person who made this experience worthwhile. My sales representative was mediocre at best. As a woman, I know the stereotype is that dealerships think they can take advantage of female buyers. I came prepared and attempted to negotiate a deal that was approximately $3,000 off the asking price on a vehicle that, according to both JD Power and KBB, was already priced about $5,000 higher than its estimated value. Knowing negotiations are part of the process, I called my brother, who is a sales representative in another state, for assistance. He worked with the salesperson, and they went back and forth on pricing. When it came time for the final offer, the salesperson clearly did not appreciate what my brother had to say. He threw the paperwork down on the table in front of me and said, "No deal. Walk." So I gathered my things, got back on the phone with my brother, and left. The problem was that I really wanted the vehicle. After discussing options, I eventually accepted the salesperson's offer of $2,000 off the asking price and the trade value they offered for my truck. Even then, I was uncomfortable and hoping the experience would improve. When I brought in my truck for trade, the salesperson asked where the second key was. I explained that I only had one key. His response was, "So it was a requirement for me to give you a vehicle with two keys, but you only give me one?" The frustrating part was that I had already disclosed this information during the trade appraisal two days earlier. He simply failed to remember it. He also made a point of telling me he had given me a great deal on my trade-in. However, the trade valuation sheet he provided showed my truck was valued at $25,700, and they offered me $25,500. I would consider that essentially even, not a favor. Now for the positive part of the experience: Jarrod in Finance was outstanding. I went into the finance office fully expecting to decline every add-on. I had already researched and priced an extended warranty elsewhere and was only mildly interested in the lifetime oil change package. Jarrod took the time to explain everything thoroughly, answer my questions, and address every concern without pressure. He genuinely seemed interested in helping me understand my options rather than simply selling products. He completely changed the tone of the evening. When it came time to sign the paperwork, I pointed out that the vehicle had clearly been rushed through detail because the salesperson wanted the sale completed quickly. There were still children's socks under the seats, the center console and sliding console had not been cleaned, and the vinyl trim along the seats was still sticky. I requested another detail. Jarrod immediately documented a complimentary re-detail in my paperwork, provided it was completed within a specified timeframe. Unfortunately, the problems continued after the sale. The following Monday, I called four separate times to schedule the detail and left a voicemail with the service department. No answer. No callback. I called again Tuesday and left another voicemail. Again, no answer and no callback. At that point, I contacted the Wasilla location directly, explained the situation, and they were incredibly helpful. They scheduled my re-detail within two days and handled the situation professionally. Overall, if you're considering this dealership, my recommendation is simple: unless you're specifically working with Jarrod in Finance, I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere. One exceptional employee was not enough to overcome the poor sales experience and lack of follow-up service.

Dragon was AMAZING and honestly could sale anything. You’ll appreciate his work, he was very informative, transparent, understanding and honest. Most importantly he treated me with respect. I wish I could’ve said the same thing for the finance person at the end. I was so close to walking away with a car that day just needed to make the payment. However the initial introduction with Ben from the finance team was good. He was interactive and ask questions to get to know me and even expressed empathy towards my recent car accident. Everything was good until it came time for me to accept the extended warranty. The used car came with a very short window left on the already existing warranty. When I declined and informed him that I was a little bit of time crunch (due to how long it took finance to come out and greet me) his response was, “Well why don’t you want to protect your assets?” In a very condescending tone. When I explained the reasoning, that still didn’t seem to satisfy him to move forward. He then proceeded to explain what a collision is and how it worked with insurance and warranties. I then proceeded to state once more that I was only interested in the car and oil changes and that I didn’t want to waste his time knowing that I was still going to decline and that once more I’m on a time crunch, which had been mentioned multiple times by myself since I had gotten there. Ben then says to some sort that he couldn’t go any faster until after he presented the warranties first and that he could get in trouble if he didn’t mention them. I told him I understood completely. He then tells me that he’s going to have me sign 3 different times that I declined, I stated that was fine. After which he says to some sort that when my car breaks down don’t call him all of these things in an extremely contemptuous tone. After all that I was still willing to proceed very hesitantly as no one buying a used car wants to hear something like that… Now I’m starting to have a lot of questions and doubts about this car and he is no longer providing me any sort of comfort. It completely all fell apart when it came time to pay. I explained what i was thinking was the plan. When he explained everything more clearly, I had a few more concerns in which I explained. He then says that I’m getting a deal and that they were floating me 10k and he doesn’t know many friends that would do something like this, again in a condescending, patronizing manner and tone. It was then I asked could I call them on Monday if things didn’t go to plan or what my options would be? He then says yeah if you communicate it’s very easy. I said that was perfect again still ready to move forward very uncertain and then he says I have to go ask my boss, I can’t make that decision with little confidence. Once he left my stomach just turned with doubt and anxiety. I couldn’t continue with the process. Maybe it’s me but when I’m spending 20k on anything, I need to be able to know that I’m getting exactly what I wanted or something I’m happy about and that my best interest is being at least considered. And it clearly shows that it was not. Telling a paying client not to call them if something happens, really shows the lack of customer service. Plus if my car ever broke down why would I call the dealership? I informed them that I was no longer comfortable or interested in moving forward based upon my experience with him. I don’t feel confident that they can support and supply me with Im looking for. Hey, if that’s their thing and that’s the standard there, then that’s cool. However as a paying client, I require respect and good customer service.

For the first time we purchased a vehicle site unseen. We were so fortunate to get Shawn as our salesman. He went above and beyond to assure us of every detail. To us it was a big risk buying a used car without seeing or driving it. Shawn took videos and photos and worked hard to show us all he could of this car. Everything was as stated. He was extremely helpful in making this transaction happen. We are fully satisfied.

We had an exceptional experience at Lithia Dodge South Anchorage purchasing our 2026 Grand Cherokee. Dragan was incredible — very knowledgeable, genuine, and easy to work with. He made what can usually be a stressful process feel simple and straightforward. He took the time to answer all our questions and never made us feel rushed or pressured, which we really appreciated. You can tell he truly cares about making sure his customers have a positive experience. Mark, the sales manager, was also fantastic and helped make sure everything came together smoothly. Overall, it was a first-class experience from start to finish. I would absolutely recommend Dragan to anyone looking for a seamless car-buying experience
