# Summary The dealership receives mixed reviews, with some customers praising individual salespeople like Chris Mathis for professionalism and friendliness, while others report significant concerns including questionable maintenance recommendations not aligned with manufacturer guidelines, financial discrepancies between quoted and charged warranty amounts, and service department failures such as missed repairs and delayed work on used vehicles. Negative experiences highlight issues with pre-sale vehicle inspections, paperwork accuracy, and follow-up service, contrasting sharply with positive feedback about the sales experience and staff courtesy.

Had a check engine light on a 2020 Kia with approximately 40,000 miles. I was able to get an appointment within a couple of weeks, and after turning over the vehicle it was inspected within a few hours. Employee interactions were pleasant. The woman at the front desk was delightful. The inspection report provided by text recommended several maintenance services, including a coolant flush, brake fluid flush, transmission fluid service, and injector cleaning. After reviewing the owner's manual, I could not find maintenance intervals supporting some of these recommendations at the vehicle's current mileage. The report also recommended thermostat replacement at a cost of nearly $700. I declined the repair as well as all the maintenance services and picked up the vehicle. The written invoice that I got stated that the "thermostat had been removed, tested, and found not to close all the way." After researching the repair, I purchased an OEM thermostat and replaced it myself. During disassembly, I did not observe any obvious signs that the thermostat area had recently been disturbed. The thermostat I removed was in the closed position at room temperature and appeared to operate normally when tested. I replaced it anyway because I had already purchased the new part and completed the work. My concern is the combination of maintenance recommendations that did not appear consistent with the owner's manual and the discrepancy between what was documented on the invoice and what I observed during the repair. Based on this experience, I would encourage customers to review recommended services carefully and ask questions before authorizing repairs.

The finance showed us numbers based on a different loan term. We asked questions, did the math and the warranty worked out to be $1400 based on the numbers. He agreed when we asked to confirm. Come to find out they charged $5400, and claimed they showed us numbers for a different loan term. Everything in the papers showed the term we agreed on, why tell us numbers on something entirely different. There were also mismatched things in the paperwork. The service department missed a broken oil dipstick tube, and I brought it back in to have them fix it. To their credit, they did fix it, but left a half a pack of cigarettes sitting on my engine block. Super unprofessional and unsafe. Needless to say, between finance and service, I will not be going here again. Richard the sales guy was the only saving grace of the entire ordeal.

I went to the dealership to look at the Telluride as a possible car for my wife, and she liked it from the moment she test drove it. Our salesperson, Chris Mathis, was very helpful, friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Great service from everyone we had contact with.

I bought a Telluride from Lithia Kia of Anchorage this week. Chris Mathis was the gentleman that facilitated the deal. He was awesome and his attention to detail and focus on customer satisfaction made the experience noteworthy. The entire Kia team was also obviously focused on the customer and I walked away from the sale very very happy. If you want to buy a car I recommend Lithia Kia.

My fiance just got a used vehicle a couple days ago and we haven't even drove it home. I suggested this business because they were able to help me out getting a better vehicle in the past. But now my fiance and I will never shop here in the future. We took it out on a test drive only in the parking lot because they couldn't figure out how to use their own gas cards and the tank was on E. (Red flag #1) But it drove and sounded just fine. So we finished paperwork, and got around the corner down the street and check engine light was flashing and turn signals didn't work along with rough idling. Come to find out they didn't even service the vehicle before selling. We took it back with them saying it'd be fixed in a day. 2 days later and now they say we have to wait 7-10 days, and that we got put on a waiting list! So not only do we need to wait a week or more after being told it'd be done in a day, we are now on a waiting list for them to even start fixing it! This is the lowest service I've ever experienced here. And as a long term customer I recommended this dealership and now I feel stupid. 1 star for sure. Update: it's been two weeks since my fiance has had his vehicle, the check engine light is on and had a recall scheduled to be fixed today. He gets there on time and they ordered the wrong part! And didn't even tell him or probably noticed till he got there. We live in Big lake and it takes a lot of our time and gas to drive to Anchorage, and today it was for nothing. This is ridiculous service. If only there was a rating lower than 1 star.
