Genuinely one of / the best car purchasing experiences I've had. Luke (salesman) was awesome to work with - very attentive, made sure all of my questions were thoroughly answered, transparent, and worked with me to get a price for my trade and this vehicle that I was very happy with. Don't have a single negative comment - would highly recommend this Lotus / Lambo dealership to anyone searching!
Just purchased a new 26' emira from Lotus charlotte (lamborghini charlotte). The transaction went very smooth, communication was excellent, and their sales team is top notch. Luke was a pleasure to work with and even helped me after the sale in placement of a temporary ppf film on my car to prevent rock chips on the drive to my ppf installer. Thank you again!
Had an absolutely great experience with Luke. He helped me option my car out and was super knowledgeable. My Emira is perfect because of all his help. Highly recommended the car, the dealership, and the salesman.
Look at my other reviews - I typically leave positive feedback Stay very far away from the Lotus Charlotte Service Department - particularly Mike Thomas. They (and he) took my money and never gave me the key I paid for. I ordered it in March. He told me in May he had the transmitter, but not the key. Which makes no sense, because the key itself is just a rebadged Jaguar unit - and is available on Amazon. I’ve asked for the transmitter and neither Lotus Charlotte nor Mike have been able to produce it. I’ve asked for status updates and they stopped answering my emails as of this week (middle of July). It’s been four months. For a replacement key order. I will promise you that I have been both professional and patient with this crew. What do you call someone who takes your money and then never delivers the product they offered to you? Personally? I call folks like that thieves. Now I have to get my attorneys involved over a stupid $200 transaction. I say stupid because I’d planned to order thousands of dollars in parts for the Lotus Evora I have in the garage (cv axle, steering column, brake rotors, wheel hubs, and more). The dealership would’ve seen thousands of dollars in revenue if Mike would’ve just been more diligent with this transaction. Blatantly ripping off customers seems like a dumb business model, but what do I know? To me, it’s just a shame. Again, stay away from Lotus Charlotte if you need service. If Mike Thomas is your service advisor, run for the hills! Remember, Toyota can handle your engine and most suspension needs. If you own an Emira with a new engine, you can go to Mercedes. I hope this review helps others to not be taken in by Mike and his crew. They will take your money and disappear.
I recently dealt with Mike Jaworski and his team for a rather tricky to diagnose electrical issue in my Elise. i cannot say enough good things about the experience. i was kept up to date every day, sometimes multiple times a day about what was being done and the progress of the investigation. the investigation was kept direct and honest, and the pricing fair. Mike was incredibly transparent and his overall communication style was enlightening and efficient, and he was overall a joy to work with. They even detailed the Elise for me, and the tires have never looked as good as they did as when i picked her up from them. 10/10 would go again (and probably will, knowing this Elise :p)
