I recently just got a 2026 Chevy Trax from this lot. The guy I talked to was jose, he may have been new, but I was more than happy to be, I believe, his first sale. He was really friendly and runs numbers great, to be honest, I'm not really even a compact SUV guy, but I'm glad it was a trax he put me in. It rides smooth and even though its only a 3 cylinder 1.2 liter engine, it feels like it has the same power my old 2011 Lincoln had. 100% would go again. 🙂‍↕️

I am not on to typically share an experience or situation with a company but I need everyone to be aware of who they purchase a car from. Backstory: I had to purchase a new vehicle to drive due to a terrible car accident where my Malibu was declared totaled; I was safe, not badly injured. Once I was able to drive and feel fine I was on the journey once again to look for another vehicle. I knew I wanted another Chevy since it kept me safe during the accident. My family and I have always trusted Lou Bachrodt Auto Mall right next to the Cherry Valley Mall. My dad has purchased several of his own vehicles there, my brother has, my mom has her car serviced there, and I had mine serviced there as well. I spent several days looking around the market to see what vehicle would be best for me and my future life. I wanted something that my husband and I could grow in (when time comes). At Lou Bachrodt I test drive several cars and landed on my current car I purchased; a Certified Pre-Owned 2021 Chevy Blazer that had their 172 point inspection. Down below you will see how my experience has been; from their service manager completely ignoring me, disrespecting, and disregarding my concerns to how the situation is being handled. This is what I shared with the Better Business Bureau. I bought a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle in January of 2024 with this dealership since my family has used them for ages. When the vehicle was bought I was given paperwork showing it has fully passed their pre-owned inspection. Recently in August of this year, 2025 I was told my hood sealant is failing after I personally installed new headlights. When I brought my vehicle in to confirm my hood sealant is failing and is the reason for the rust under my hood their service manager was completely rude to me, continuously cut me off when I was trying to tell him my concern, and told me that I have to figure this out on my own. After I left service I went inside to hopefully speak to my sales rep, Al (who informed me to come in since it was covered) and he was not in the office; so another sales rep came out and inspected my vehicle and took pictures to the service manager and was told that this is something not covered that they need to fix and to go to a body shop. After leaving I went to their recommended Chevy body shop and was told this is not the original hood and the sealant is failing, if he wanted to he could push his figure through my hood to the outside. I was given a quote for a whole new hood for almost $4,000 on August 21st. When I brought my vehicle and the situation up to Al when he was back in the office both himself and his manager both told me that it was not the original hood and that it should be covered. I got a text from Al on August 26 informing that there was nothing they could do besides helping me trade my vehicle in. At the end of the day all I was requesting was them to uphold their certified pre-owned seal of approval on my vehicle and correct the situation by fixing my hood. Instead I am now trying to see what I can do to resolve the situation. Unfortunately my claim with the BBB was close due to purchasing my vehicle over a year ago. When I got my claim closed they also sent me a new Car Fax where I learned that Lou Bachrodt added that I had damage to my vehicle AFTER I brought the issue up to them. I never got notified from Car Fax that there was an update on my info. I NEVER ASKED for the to put anything on my Car Fax. Now if I ever want to trade or sell my car the value has decreased due to the damage I was trying to get fix. My lovely dad has been so helpful trying to help resolve the issue with Lou Bachrodt since no one there was listening to me I had to bring him in. He spoke with Al my sales guy and he was “surprised” to find out that it was added; this was all on 11/22/25 and was told his GM would call… no call, radio silence. I urge everyone to not go to Lou Bachrodt Auto Mall right next to Cherry Valley Mall for any vehicle purchase or service needed.

I recently paid a visit to your lot and Alyssa was the sales rep that assisted me. She showed me a few different vehicles, gave me all the information I needed on the vehicles, showed me the inside of them, explained everything. Also gave me a tour of the building, offered me beverages! My experience was amazing thanks to Alyssa, she was absolutely delightful.
