# Summary The dealership receives mixed feedback, with some customers praising professional service, smooth purchasing experiences, and attentive staff, while others report significant frustrations with sales tactics that prioritize new inventory over trade-ins and service department failures including poor recall repairs and lack of customer follow-up. Long-term satisfaction appears heavily dependent on which department handles the transaction, as sales and service experiences vary considerably.
Went in for a trade in appraisal on my Florida 2008 Hyundai Tiburon GT(FULLY LOADED), with 87,705 miles on it. The first guy was cool and wanted to help, however, Paul basically pushed me away. I said I want to possibly trade in my Tiburon with 87,705 miles in for a Mustang, 1994-2012 or if possible, 2015-17. He said we don’t trade in used cars for used cars. So he didn’t attempt the appraisal or even try looking for the perfect Mustang for me. He wanted me to get into their 2024 Mustang Ecoboost that’s sat on the lot for 2 years or their white GT they just got in. I won’t be coming back, EVER.
It seems like everywhere you go today customer service is terrible. We bought a 2020 Ford Escape that had a recall on the doors. We have been trying for over 2 years to get the drivers door fixed. It won't unlock with the fob. They took the doors off fixed the weld (recall) we thought they would fix the inside part too since the door was apart ( we would gladly pay the difference) and that's what we were told was being fixed. Nope, not only that but there was over spray on the interior of the doors, and now the doors are out of alignment and rubbing and taking off the paint on the door and body where it's rubbing. We have to drive 45 min to Hibbing now to have the shop they took it to look at it. No loaner car, no hey sorry about the inconvenience let us help you. They sent the car to a shop that didn't do things up to par and it's our issue. We brought it in to have the trailer lights warning that go off and on when its wet outside. They told us to put a cover on it, not hey, this is a cover you can buy to fix the issue. My family will not be buying a car from them ever again. And this wasn't the first one we have bought from them definitely the last s8nce the service has gone so far down hill.
Huge shoutout to the entire staff at Lundgrens for their outstanding service and quality work. From start to finish everything was handled professionally, efficiently, and with great attention to detail. It’s clear they take pride in what they do and truly care about their customers. Highly recommend Lundgrens to anyone looking for top-notch service department.
My wife and I just purchased a Bronco Sport Badlands from Lundgren Ford, a fourth-generation family business success story, located in Eveleth, MN. This dealership is owned and operated by family members and employees who care about what they do. We had a very pleasant time from start to finish. As for the vehicle, it was really great seeing the smile on my Wife's face as she drove her new Ruby Red Bronco Sport home.
I recently purchase a CPO Gold F150. My experience at Lundgren Ford was great. I was very happy to find a truck with the features I wanted locally. It was a very smooth unpressured buying experience. From the minute I walked into the dealership to inquire about the vehicle to signing the final paperwork, my sales person Matt did a great job of highlighting the trucks features and Olin was very helpful in explaining financing and going over the paperwork. I will definitely look to Lundgrens first when purchasing my next vehicle.
