Macdonald Motors Bridgton - Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram

I Purchased a used 25 Ram 1500, with 24,000 miles in January From McDonald Motors In Bridgton Maine, Although the buying process was simple and easy I was only provided one key fob at time of purchase with the promise of receiving the 2nd fob when the previous owner returned it, after almost 6 weeks I did receive a second key fob unfortunately it doesn’t go to my vehicle. Within the first week of ownership I experienced Engine and Transmission Problems, A pending code for a multiple cylinder misfire and the transmission was anything but smooth, I have been into the dealership 3 times now where I miss work each time and's the original problems still are not resolved, and every time I go in I get the “ol’ that’s just normal for that vehicle” since when did a transmission shudder or a engine misfire become normal on a vehicle with less than 50k miles? To bad the sale department didn’t share this with me upon purchase, I was told the previous owner just upgraded trucks every year or so, but when I received the carfax realized the vehicle had already been in the service department a handful of times for what I assume is the same problems I am having currently, I consider this truly dishonest on the sales team behalf just to sell a vehicle. I was told the vehicle had been gone through by the service department before purchase but was clearly not the case as something as simple as the air filter was completely dirty when I received the vehicle, I lack any confidence in the service department to fix my ongoing issues and unfortunately with 3 children at home I can’t justify missing anymore work to bring it in for what seems like no solution, so that leaves me stuck with a vehicle I am not satisfied with. I would not recommend purchasing a vehicle with the intent to have this dealership service the vehicle. This has been a terrible experience with no solution in sight. And one would expect for the price of vehicles these days and having a warranty we wouldn’t have this problem

I recently bought a used truck from MacDonald Motors. I inquired about availability on line first and received the OTD (out the door) price. The price was a solid price for the truck. I went and saw the truck first hand and was not disappointed. I completed the necessary purchase paperwork within 30 minutes but had to leave for an appointment. They offered to bring the truck to my house and pick up my trade in. Being an hour away, that was a huge benefit for me. I would definitely buy from them again and highly recommend them to anyone. My wife and I have been discussing getting a new pickup for a while now. We finally found the one we were looking for online at Macdonald Motors in Bridgton. We went in on a weekend and Rick came out in the blistering cold to show us which truck we had been looking at. He brought us inside, and grabbed our information, and sent us on a test drive. The sales process was so quick and painless. There was no "back and forth" and constant bickering, the team was super knowledgeable, and very fair. There was no pressure from Rick or any of the sales team. Andre was absolutely amazing, and had the paperwork all ready to go, all we had to do was sign. It was by far the easiest car buying experience we have ever had. We are already talking about our next purchase, and how we are going to just reach out to Rick when we know what we are looking for. We will definitely be back.

Best dealership I have ever dealt with! Highly recommend MacDonald Motors. I went through Bridgton and Doug was amazing to work with while buying my Jeep. Had a small issue after I bought it, they got me in as soon as they could, gave me a loaner for two weeks and fixed the issue. Phenomenal customer service! Sam at the service department was extremely helpful with the entire process. 10/10
