I’m from out of state and had been hunting for an F-250 for months when I found a 2023 at Macke. It ticked every box and was priced significantly lower than anything else I’d seen. I called and spoke with Bob, who is a true "salt of the earth" guy, no nonsense and definitely not the stereotypical salesperson I’m used to dealing with. When I asked about "add-ons," I was shocked to find out the online price was actually the price. Where I’m from, that’s unheard of. I’m accustomed to being nickeled and dimed with hidden fees, so this transparency was a breath of fresh air. The logistics of an out-of-state buy can be tricky. Since I was traveling from 700 miles away during Spring Break, flights and rentals were a nightmare to coordinate. Initially, there was a bit of a communication "daisy chain" regarding the timeline and a deposit, but once I spoke directly with the sales manager, Mark, we got on the same page immediately. They even offered to meet me at Fort Dodge (a 45-minute drive for them) to make my arrival easier. When I arrived, the Macke team was right on time at the rental drop-off. The truck was an honest 9 out of 10. Bob even threw in some shirts and a hat, which was a class act. I took it over to a local Ford dealer for a quick inspection and to clear some recalls before the long haul home, and it passed with flying colors. Overall, I’d give the experience a solid A. To get it to an A+, I have two small suggestions: Direct Communication: I’d prefer to talk directly to the person making the decisions. Relaying messages through multiple people can cause nuances to get lost in translation. Detailing: While the major mechanicals were serviced (brakes, trans, diff), there were a couple of minor "quality of life" items, like a slight vibration at highway speed and an alignment issue, that needed attention. It wasn't discovered until I hit the interstate and again minor. Overall I am very pleased with the purchase and the integrity of this team. I’d gladly do business with Macke again. We had a positive experience with Macke. The car that they had listed on their site was exactly as described, and was in great and clean condition for a used car. It was certainly worth the hour drive away to go and purchase the vehicle from them, and we feel like we got a very good deal. We took the vehicle to our mechanic and they found absolutely nothing wrong with it and in fact they were surprised how good of condition it was in, we would certainly purchase another vehicle from Macke again.

Dylan Addison made trading in and buying a new vehicle incredibly easy. He was knowledgeable without ever being pushy, which I really appreciated. Buying a car isn’t usually one of my favorite things to do, but Dylan made the entire experience genuinely pleasant. Dylan went the extra mile to help us get any rebates available. I would highly recommend working with him and all of Macke Motors!
