My husband and I were in the market for a truck that would be our only vehicle and would be used as a daily driver. The truck would also need to be capable of pulling a large 5th wheel trailer and so my husband began searching for suitable vehicles online by going to dealer websites and searching their new inventory. His search began locally but no suitable vehicles were found in stock so he was forced to search dealer inventories in locations further away. He eventually found a suitable vehicle in southern Ontario that was exactly what we were looking for and was discounted significantly. In addition, the dealer quoted us a very good price on the car that we were going to be trading in. We were prepared to drive south to take advantage of this deal but my husband was concerned about servicing the vehicle locally after having bought it elsewhere... so he phoned Manitoulin Chrysler to talk to their service department to see if future servicing would be an issue. The service department was very understanding and assured him that there would be no problem with service locally but they also suggested that he might talk with their sales team to see if there was any chance of getting the truck through a dealer trade. He did, in fact, talk with sales and was assured that they would do all they could to find what we were looking for and that they could match whatever deal he had found online. To make a long story short... Kennedy, Jenna and Wayne went out of their way to put a deal together for us and we took delivery of our beautiful new truck on Dec 07, 2018. Having lived and worked on Manitoulin, we both are very happy that we were able to do business locally. Manitoulin businesses employ Islanders and need support from Island residents. I recently bought a new Ram from Jaimie at Manitoulin Chrysler. Living 500km away I had a ton of questions and requests and Jaimie made sure everything was perfect for pick up day! She made sure the truck was exactly how I wanted it and answered any questions I had…..even after her work hours (sorry about that lol) I was so happy to not reach out to a dealership close to me. Even though it was quite far away if I was to do it all over again I would reach out to her in a heartbeat. Best experience I have ever had when buying a new vehicle. Highly recommended!
