Marion jeep service dept is 5+ stars. Brandon was great keeping me posted about myJjeep. Boone wanted to charge me $2000 just to diagnose the issue. Marion fixed it for a quarter of the price. It is worth the drive from Banner Elk to take my Jeep here. Hope I don't have to come back, but if I do, they have my business!!

Purchased a certified pre-owned truck from Marion Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram expecting the reliability and quality that "certified" promises. Unfortunately, this has been a very disappointing experience. Shortly after buying it (with almost no miles on the odometer), the batteries failed and had to be replaced. Then came wiring issues, an oil leak, and the added warranty I purchased wasn't even valid or in place when I needed service on the truck. It took over a month and 15–20 phone calls just to get the warranty corrected. The oil leak repair wasn't covered under the warranty, leaving me out another $1,300. Overall, I've spent about $1,900 out of pocket on fixes that shouldn't have been necessary on a certified vehicle. At only 27,000 miles, the rear tires already need full replacement—another issue that doesn't align with what certified pre-owned should mean. I still have the truck, but the repeated problems and poor follow-through on warranty/service have been frustrating and costly. The dealership's customer service hasn't lived up to expectations for handling these issues promptly or fairly. Potential buyers should be aware and ask detailed questions about certifications and warranties. If you're considering a vehicle here, do your homework thoroughly. Sincerely, DW
