Did some car shopping online and found a nice used truck within our price range. I inquired about it and received a call on Monday from Ressie, confirming that the truck was available and ready to sell. We planned a trip for Wednesday, and on Tuesday around 3 p.m. I received another call letting me know it was still available. After driving 2½ hours to arrive when they opened, we walked in and were immediately greeted by the smell of mildew. We then waited about seven minutes before anyone acknowledged us. Once Alexis came around the corner and saw us, she greeted us right away. She was polite, professional, and genuinely tried to help us, so I appreciate her efforts. Unfortunately, despite being told twice that the truck was available, we were informed after making the drive that it was tied up in service and couldn’t be sold to us. We looked at other vehicles, but none met our needs. It was extremely disappointing to spend five hours driving round trip based on information that turned out to be inaccurate. Better communication would have saved everyone involved a lot of time and frustration.

I’m a returning customer of the former Don Hall Chevrolet. I’d bought a 2019 Traverse back then and this time came to pickup a 2025 Chevrolet Silverado 4x4 Custom. From the time I found the listing online to the time I signed the paperwork, the staff at Mark Porter Chevrolet were awesome. I worked with Caleb and Lucas the finance guy. Both made everything so simple and straightforward. Anytime I had a question about something it was answered with ease and confidence which says volumes about the workers. I’m planning to purchase again in about 3.5 years for my wife again. When I do, I’ll be going back to Mark Porter Chevrolet in Ashland KY to do so.

I have a 2023 Cadillac XT6 and I had problems with a battery we had put in ourselves cause I did not want it towed. WELL, the battery went haywire and the car shut down completely in the middle of a buy 2 lane street. Dead stick. Special thanks to Reyburns towing on roll back, no scratches. Then had taken to Mark Porter for repair. They found out the problem and fixed. The garage work area is clean, workers are clean, and careful with my car. It was quite an expensive investment and I was so pleased it all came back as it was. Thank you Mark Porter!

Bought a 2018 ram 1500 truck from mark porter in Ashland, I’ve been looking for a truck for awhile and saw it online I went and test drive it and liked it, right after buying about a week last I heard what sounded like an exhaust leak, and after looking under the truck a big chunk of the exhaust was rusted off and there was metal tape but hose clamps on which I’m guessing was to try to fix it when it was traded, on top of that when I bought the truck I asked prior if the truck had any engine noises or the “hemi tick” which I was told “no”. Now I did test drive the truck and didn’t hear it then because if you know once the truck is warmed up it usually does go away so I didn’t hear it in my test drive. Didn’t find out till a couple days later when I cold started it and it has a very load ticking noise coming from the engine. I have pictures of everything with time stamps about both problems. Both when I asked about engine noises and was told it had none or hemi tick, and was told the truck was in perfect shape and had no issues. Would not work with them again after this, now my sales lady rose was absolutely amazing would rate her 5 starts she did great and was probably not aware of the problems I listed. Would love to have this fixed
