My electric vehicle stopped charging on February 12th, and I dropped it off at the dealership two days before a long weekend. I simply asked if they could accommodate a rental vehicle. The service representative clearly said, “We cannot help with that.” No alternatives were suggested. No support was offered. As a result, I was left without a vehicle for the entire long weekend. A week later, I received a call from Judy in service telling me the car was ready for pickup. I took a 40-minute Uber ride to the dealership and arrived at 10:00 AM. When I spoke to the service rep, I was casually told to “go outside and you’ll find it on the right” — a five-minute walk in the cold. I walked outside only to discover the car was NOT ready. It had not been prepared, and the charging port cover was missing (see attached photo). That alone proves the vehicle was never properly checked before they called me to pick it up. What kind of dealership tells a client their vehicle is ready when it clearly isn’t? The only explanation I received was “human error.” Meanwhile, I had to be downtown in 30 minutes. My time was completely wasted. Only after I demanded to speak to a manager did they suddenly offer a rental vehicle — something they flatly refused at the beginning. Not once did they suggest a rental company or offer any solution when I was originally left stranded. Today, after two full weeks, I finally picked up the vehicle. It was returned at only 60% charge — they couldn’t even charge it to 80%. On top of that, the car was extremely dirty inside and out, with snow and debris throughout. After all the inconvenience and mistakes, they didn’t even attempt the basic courtesy of cleaning the vehicle. This is absolutely unacceptable. Poor communication, careless handling, no accountability, and zero customer care. I strongly advise anyone considering service or purchasing a vehicle here to think twice and consider another dealership. This experience was beyond disappointing — it was completely unprofessional.
