I have bought a grand total of 4 vehicles from Martin automotive group. After this last one I would never want to associate with this company ever again. They have indefinitely lost my buisness as someone who regularly purchases new vehicles. Their service department has gone severely downhill, they KNOWINGLY sold me a faulty vehicle undisclosed that it was a faulty vehicle. There were even repair orders in for the vehicle which is crazy. I bought the vehicle on March 1st and won't even drive it because of the safety issues. Worst part was I bought another one from them on March 6th as well and then as soon as I purchased it they said they don't even want to honor the maintenance program or work on the vehicles. Like absolutely wild!

I had an unfortunate experience with Steve Gutierrez, who represented himself as a sales manager for Volkswagen and the Martin Management Group while selling his personal vehicle, a 2006 Infiniti FX 45. As the highest bidder in his auction, I was eager to finalize the deal. After some negotiation, I even offered an additional $500 to secure the sale, and he agreed. As my travel plans approached, including a non-refundable flight and hotel arrangements, Steve texted to confirm our meeting. However, just hours later, he backed out of the deal. This was incredibly disappointing, especially considering I had already made significant arrangements that couldn’t be canceled. As a business professional, I value commitment, and I expected the same in return. I ended up losing nearly $600 due to his last-minute withdrawal. While I did receive a credit for the plane tickets, I am still out $150 because of his actions. I am writing this review to express my dissatisfaction with the situation. If Steve were to refund me the $150 loss, I would consider retracting this review. However, his failure to follow through on our agreement and make me whole is unacceptable. I give this experience 1 star, especially since Steve is not just an associate but an experienced member of the Martin Management Group. I hope he will do the right thing and refund my money.

This review is regarding the Kia of Beavercreek Dealership in OH. I have been using KoB for my service needs since they opened their doors. I even purchased my 23 Telluride from them 6/2023. The service experience used to be amazing, not sure why it has declined in the last couple of years? I've found it difficult at times to engage with the serv mgr, as well as various serv advisors. Concerns brought to advisors and manager either go unanswered, or pushed to the side in hopes that the customer won't follow up. The reason for posting this review is the result of an incident with my 23 Telluride on 8/6/24. My SUV was involved in a crash and needed repairs. Kia was needed for assessment, reconfiguration, etc. After completion at the repair shop, my SUV was moved to KoB on 8/2/24 to have the issues completed by 8/8/24. The technology of Kia Valet Alert and Trip History in the app, meant I was able to see that my SUV had been driven off the KoB lot at 5:17 pm on 8/6/24, for 60.27 miles to London, OH. My 360-camera view allows me to see active photos of my SUV. My SUV was parked in front of a house in London, OH…I live in Xenia, OH. I saw the alert at 7 pm, and called KoB in hopes that someone could tell me what was going on. I called and explained that my SUV was there for repairs and needed to speak to someone to find out where my SUV was. I spoke to I believe, John, and he was not able to reach out to the serv mgr but verified that my vehicle was not on the lot and would call me back shortly. When he called me back, he stated that his Master Tech lived in London, and most likely took my SUV home for the night to test the sensors for any additional issues that needed attention. I was informed that several miles needed to be driven to ensure all active items were back in working order and that couldn’t be done during normal working hours. I was also told that it is not out of the ordinary for techs to take customer’s vehicles home for this type of assessment, but that I should have been advised by phone that my vehicle was going to be driven home by a service tech. I received no such call from anyone in the service dept or any other department at KoB. I've had no issues in the past receiving texts, calls/voice mails, and emails from KoB any other time my vehicle has been in for service. I was also told by John, that “he’s known the Master Tech for years, he’s a great guy and lives in a safe area and my vehicle would be safe and, in a garage, overnight.” My 360-view photos show my SUV parked in front of a garage, but not inside of said garage… I also received low fuel alerts on my SUV and told this John, which he then replied, “we’ll make sure the tank is full when you get it back, don’t worry, won’t be a problem.” 8/7/24 – 6:31 am – fuel percentage at 50%. My gas tank was not in fact filled up as promised, and an additional 45.98 miles were added to my SUV. 106.25 total miles from 8/6/24 5:17 pm to 8/7/24 6:31 am were put onto my SUV, and a little over half a tank of gas was provided by KoB. The entirety of this situation and lack of communication is totally unacceptable, and downright shameful to be honest. It is now 8/9/24. My SUV was picked up from KoB by the repair shop on 8/8/24. Not only did no one from KoB call me to possibly further explain why they did what they did (regarding taking my vehicle off the lot without my knowledge), but they decided to bill the repair shop for the gas they put into my tank!!! An additional $35 was added to the invoice from KoB to the repair shop. What? I, along with the repair shop were totally shocked that this was even allowed to happen. When my repair shop questioned the charge and asked to speak to the service manager, he was told “he’s not here”. Anyone in a customer service-related position, should have immediately found another manager/supervisor to speak with about any concerns. As of this posting 8/9/24, I have not received any communication from KoB regarding this situation. Martin Group/Kia of Beavercreek, please do better for your customers in the future.
