The dealership receives consistent praise for transparent pricing, professional customer service, and well-organized community events, with staff members noted for making customers feel valued throughout the buying process. However, some customers have reported significant issues including inadequate vehicle preparation, unresponsive communication about post-purchase problems, and disputed claims about inspection findings and repairs.
On May 9, 2026 I was a participant in Saxe 13th Annual Classic Car Show. Was a huge, fun, well organized event. Everyone had a grand time enjoying the large variety of vehicles, free lunch and learning about the cars & their owners. The Saxe staff and volunteers were very organized, helpful, courteous and knowledgeable. The GM dealership setting was ideal. Hats off to Matt Saxe Chevrolet for hosting one of the very best car shows . Thank you.
I brought a Ford F150 5.0 from Matt Saxe In Belpine, Minnesota, Trish was very helpful, and I was very impressed with everything that happened, the way she was handling the whole situation, she answered all of my questions. I didn’t have no issues with anything. She got me all the information I needed, and I would recommend going there to anybody that I know or any of my friends. She made the whole car buying process much easier and Professional I really felt important and that was the biggest part about it. I didn’t feel like they just wanted to get the car out of there and sell it to whoever wanted it. Kind of made me feel like family. Most of all Thank you, Trish and thank you Matt Saxe.
Great experience all around. We’ve purchased multiple vehicles here and everything had always been transparent. Service is always upfront and they communicate well- hard to find a more American place to buy a car these days than Saxe Chevy.
Do not recommend! Stay away! Call dealership because we had questions about a car that was listed. They answered the question and we scheduled at time to come look at it 3 days later. They knew we were coming from 3 hrs away to buy the car. After looking at the car and getting financed then they told us we couldn't take the car home. Greg (sales manager) told us it was illegal to sell us the car until it had been inspected (which is a lie)! We could do paperwork but couldn't take the car. They would deliver some time the next week. During the inspection they found codes for the radio?? But in reality they were for the O2 sensor they didn't want to fix. Their inspection missed the fact that it had multiple bulbs burnt out, air filter was really dirty, and cabin filter was really dirty. In removing the buyers guide from the side window they wrecked the window tint. In contacting them about these issues they wouldn't respond until multiple messages were sent. Then lied about the check engine light and codes and won't pay for repairs. They paid for a new air filter that's it. Lied and said no pictures were sent of the window tint issues. If you are looking for a dealership who will lie to you go see Greg he will do that with a smile on his face.
We purchased a pickup on October 30th,made an appointment to see it about a week before came and looked at it and said to the sales man a Mr Johnson if I remember right that it was pretty dirty at the time just looked like it had been sitting out in the weather witch I would of thought when you know somebody is coming to look at it you would have cleaned it up, but we liked the truck and just figured it would detailed when we came to pick it up,So we come to pick it up and I know I should have said something right then but I didn’t jump in roll down the window and the edge has not been cleaned on all of the windows open the tailgate when we get home and they don’t wash the box out full of dust and dirt then the wife takes it to town and calls me and tells me she can’t get in the key fob won’t work so I go in and the one I have works fine I figured it was just a dead battery but still I think things like that should be checked out,and I guess when you people sell a used vehicle the customer doesn’t get a tank of gas, there was less than 1/4 of a tank in it, I thought I would try someone else to buy from once but I learned my lesson this is a few pictures of the detailing job I was not impressed with, Thank you for your time
