Max Curnow Chevrolet GMC

Hands down, this is the best customer service I’ve ever received when buying a truck. I was driving from Michigan to Kansas and had a situation where the transmission in my truck blew up. Not only did the Shawn and the service team bend over backwards to get my truck evaluated immediately , but also did everything they could to get the necessary parts in the next day to start fixing it. We were connected immediately with Scott on the sales team and ultimately purchased a new truck. Anthony expedited the purchase process and they had us ready to go in a matter of hours. Kudos to Michael the GM for his role in this entire process and his leadership at Max Curnow. I live in Michigan, but will definitely drive back to Missouri for my next truck.

I arrived and was immediately greeted by my salesman and the general manager. The general manager gave me his business card and said I could call him anytime I needed anything. Scott had the cars I was interested in lined up for me to look at. I looked through all of them and test drive the one I liked best. We got back and I told him that’s the one I wanted. We started paperwork and I was able to drive the car home that night. It was wonderful because my car was out of commission. I was so very grateful for being treated with such love and respect.

While getting an oil change, the mechanic found that we had a bad tire. We immediately took it to Big O Tires, and they put on two new tires. Thanks for bringing this problem to our attention!

Everyone was absolutely amazing! Stan was fantastic in working with us. Michael was great as well and went out of his way to make the deal happen quickly! We will definitely be doing business with them in the future!

This review will stay a one until they fix my cousin’s car the way it should have been in the first place. Max Curnow did the original work and I do believe they missed a bigger issues, and have yet to help fix it as well, so we took it Ford in Chillicothe, with that being said, this review with stay the same as theirs until these two companies want to come to solution. So what did I do? I took my car there to be worked on by Ford mechanics, expecting honestly truly better results that Max Curnow in town. Because we had took the car to be worked on for insurance and insurance claim and we were having issues and we were trying to resolve it back to that. The issues have always been since day one of getting the car back and every time I’ve taken it to a mechanic. They told me we can’t diagnose it because there’s no light but yet the light comes on and then they clear it off. But it’s not the light that’s the problem according to them. OK then what is it? I took it to get diagnosed not just why my check engine light was on.. I just feel like I got the runaround and I paid money for nothing. For no answers yet again. I told the mechanic that this car does not always throw obvious signs, that if they needed I would take them out personally to show them the issues but apparently that was to much to ask or search for? The way the person replied here is that we aren’t willing to pay for the issue, I CAN NOT FIX AN ISSUE THAT IS NOT SOLVED OR DIAGNOSED!!! I TOOK IT TO GET DIAGNOSED NOT JUST FIXED!!! YOU CAN NOT FIX SOMETHING IF YOU DO NOT SEE WHAT IS FULLY WRONG!!!! But because I got upset over explaining this issue repeatedly to your incompetent mechanic and apparently you as a incompetent boss, who doesn’t get the bigger point here, it shows, it is sad. I am sorry you have a pea size brain and the rest of you in there too. 12/4/25 - I was offered a refund in order to remove this review, but not to fix the solution 12/4/25 - as you can see the responded below, I didn’t threaten anyone or anything until after they said, “Refund to remove review.” I said, “I would think about it.” Absolutely no refund, and the whole staff turned on me, even the two supposed owners, they are claiming we took this car everywhere, news flash, Ford in Chillicothe, and Max Curnow (who are not a Ford vehicle company), so we chose Ford for our Ford Edge, with no help, luck, or any thing of the sort. Just cleared my light and said, “You’re good to go.” 12/5/2025 - Food for thought just now, no resolutions today. Paid dealership to diagnose car, did everything else but what I asked for, a diagnosis, but the two under the 85 year old incompetent owner can diagnose? But not the mechanics who are paid very good according to them, they could not diagnose it? But the two of you could without even looking at the car? I don’t know. Who was really threatened here. I didn’t remove review so our car is SOL according to FORD here. Kinda wild.
