Mercedes-Benz of Lubbock

I have to go with 4 stars because of an issue that really delayed delivery and was not would expect from any dealership yet alone a Mercedes Benz dealership. First they to repair an issue that we figured out on the test drive. No big deal, better to get it fixed now than later. Thomas my salesman insisted that I take a loaner while it was being repaired which was okay but everyone started wondering if it was my new and it certainly wasn’t. The day it was to be ready as promised showed up to get it and well turns out they needed to keep it overnight again to have cleaned up for delivery. Not happy but what can you do. Picked it up and I was excited to finally have it after a week and that morning was cloudy and sprinkling some so I just quickly got in talked with Thomas briefly since it was not my first Mercedes I knew how to set up everything. Got it home and by afternoon the sun came out and got to looking at it and discovered that it was actually covered in hard water deposits that were all over the entire car top to bottom front to back. Finding out that removing hard water deposits on cars was not easy I contacted Thomas and he said that I could bring it back up for a detail anytime the next week. I show up first thing Monday morning to give them ample time to work on it so they don’t have to keep overnight again and spoke with Kurt the General Sales Manager and he fully agreed that it was far below their standards for delivery and said he would try the detail shop there and if they could not clean it he used an outside detail shop that could and worse case have it back next day. Got yet another loaner car and expected a showroom quality delivery the next day. Received communication from Thomas, who is great with keeping you posted, that well it would be maybe Wednesday evening or Thursday before they could get it back. The outside company determined that some paint correction needed to be done along with the hard water removal. Not happy again but definitely needed to be fixed. Got a call from Thomas late Wednesday it was ready and he would deliver it to me right then. By the time he arrived it was dark but you could feel that the paint was now butter smooth versus the grit it felt like before and we looked it over best we could in the dark and Thomas said check it out in the light but they have done everything that they could possibly do to fix the hard water spots. Checked it out the next morning and I’m not going to lie I was still disappointed because things like the inside of the doors were not touched and there were still hard water stains visible albeit it looked 98% better. Thomas did contact me next day to follow up and since he had already said they did everything they could I just told him looks great. This being my second Mercedes to buy the first purchased in the Dallas area the only thing that I have to complain about was the delivery and that it took basically 5 days to ultimately get what I considered a very inferior delivery from Mercedes Benz. I’m left with the expense of getting the final hard water spots removed and it still baffles me how on earth they ever got so bad for a brand new car. No one should have to pay for a showroom quality new vehicle look. The sale process with Thomas went wonderful and I felt like the team bent over backwards to get me the deal I wanted which is the only reason why I gave 4 stars or else probably would’ve been 2. P.S. The pictures are of the same car even though the color looks completely different. It’s Verde Silver which is very unique and looks very different in various lights.

Just got a bmw m4 from Anthony and it’s great! He went thru the effort to send me a video and show me the car so I could see it before I was there. I fell in love as soon as we drove it. It is everything the said! The Financing was easy, the communication was great! They are always willing to put forth the extra effort for the best deal and are highly recommended! I recently purchased a 2024 c300 and it was the easiest process!
