# Summary The dealership receives overwhelming praise for its welcoming atmosphere, professional staff, and stress-free vehicle purchasing process, with customers highlighting exceptional service from sales and finance teams. However, some customers have reported inconsistent experiences, including instances of dismissive behavior from certain staff members and discrepancies between online appraisals and in-store offers.
I had an absolutely fantastic experience at Mercedes-Benz of Reno. From the moment we walked through the door, the entire team made us feel welcome and valued. Buying a vehicle can sometimes feel stressful, but they made the whole process smooth, comfortable, and actually enjoyable. What impressed me the most was the professionalism and respect they showed throughout the entire process. There was no pressure, no pushy sales tactics, and no long back-and-forth negotiations. They listened to what we wanted, worked with us to find the right vehicle, and made sure everything was transparent and straightforward. Even though the process was quick and efficient, we never felt rushed. The staff took the time to answer our questions, explain everything clearly, and make sure we were comfortable every step of the way. The level of customer service honestly felt like what you would expect from a true luxury dealership experience. The dealership itself was clean, organized, and very welcoming, and everyone we interacted with at Mercedes-Benz of Reno was friendly and professional. It’s clear that they truly care about their customers and take pride in providing a great experience. This was easily one of the best car-buying experiences I’ve had. If you’re looking for a dealership that treats you with respect, values your time, and delivers a top-tier experience, I highly recommend visiting Mercedes-Benz of Reno. I would absolutely purchase from them again.
These guys are straight class. Made the buying experience fun and exciting. Ilya was a pro and took care of me every step of the way. Nick/Scott from finance were also very helpful and not aggressive, you can tell they had my best interests in mind. Thank you MB of Reno, I love my new car and the experience at your dealership really added to this incredible purchase!
A1 Service! Bought my 2018 M240i from Mercedes Benz of Reno. Matthew LeDin was my salesman and I could not have asked for anyone better. He went the extra mile for my fantastic experience. Made everything easy and treated me very well. We made the process quick and simple and soon enough walked away with the keys!
My experience with MB of Reno started so poorly. I initially came in to view the lot to see if there was a Mercedes-Benz that spoke to me as I was in the market to purchase one, trading in my 2020 VW Passat. While looking at vehicles, the salesman who approached me was immediately confrontational and made insinuating comments to me about going across the street to CarMax to find a vehicle more fitting for my budget…even though NEVER ONCE was budget, my earnings, or my credit score ever mentioned. I scoffed and told them nevermind, I’ll purchase through another dealership. About a week later, I purchased an absolutely beautiful MB C300 coupe through another dealership. I unfortunately, was only provided with one key fob and was referred to MB of Reno to get a second fob. I was hesitant to return, just due to my previous experience here. Despite that, I showed up and upon walking in, had to break up a group of dealers that were standing around talking and ask if I go to the parts department to purchase a second key fob. When I asked this, the salesman said “A second key fob? Or are you trying to buy a key chain? They’re cheaper.” I said “no, I said key fob. My Mercedes only has 1 key and I would like a second.” And he said in such an unbelievably rude way “Trying to buy yourself a second key so you can take dad’s car isn’t wise. You need to have the title, registration, and insurance all in your name if you want to do that.” And started to turn around to walk away until I said “dad’s car? No, my car. I have all of that documentation thank you.” He rolled his eyes then walked me back to parts, slapped the counter and said “someone back there can help you” then just walked away. The parts desk was empty and the lights were out. I stood there and waited for 15 minutes and finally, someone walked up and was able to help me. After reading reviews of this dealership, it seems that their sales staff and service departments are extremely subpar and this behavior spans months, even years. As this is our only local Mercedes dealership, I pray I never have to set foot in here again. It seems like I’ll be bringing my C300 to California or seek local auto shops like SportHaus or SAS for service on my car when needed.
My car was appraised at $27,000 online. I feel I was very honest regarding the condition of the vehicle. In store I was offered $23,200. The “sales” rep let it slip that this was common. High value offered on line (to get you in the door) then reduced in store. Not cool. I will no longer be doing any business with AutoNation. Just to be clear my issues are with AutoNation, NOT the folks at Mercedes. Everyone at the dealership has been great. Professional and accommodating. Scott in finance, Jim in sales and Jessica in service have all done fine work!
