Visited today with my little brother, who is looking for a reliable car, to see a black 2014 Toyota Avalon with 237,000 miles listed for $5,999. During our inspection, we noticed multiple issues, including what appeared to be an engine oil leak and brake pads that need attention. When we asked about the oil leak, we were initially told there was no issue. Later, we were told that these kinds of problems are common on vehicles with this mileage. That response was disappointing because buyers deserve clear and honest information from the start. We drove from Middletown, Ohio, to Florence, Kentucky, specifically to see this vehicle. Time, fuel, and effort were spent based on the expectation that the vehicle description was accurate. If a car has known mechanical issues, they should either be disclosed in the listing, repaired before sale, or reflected in the asking price. My concern is for buyers who may not have enough experience to spot expensive mechanical problems during a quick inspection. Transparency goes a long way, and customers should not have to discover major issues after making the trip. To be fair, the sales representative was friendly and polite throughout the visit, and I appreciate his professionalism. However, the condition of the vehicle and the lack of transparency left us disappointed. Based on this experience, I can only give Negative stars!!!!!

Johnny was A delight to work with. I got a great car with low mileage for under the value. The one I did ask for a couple things to be replaced. It did not get done like windshield wipers and things like that. I would still go back to Johnny in a heartbeat just for the way he treated me. Even though when I walked in the door, the first thing he said was, you know this is a stick right lol. Everybody there was friendly everybody there was business like they have some great cars and they treat you with respect. I would recommend Midwest auto to anybody I ran into.
